Alex with Power Bomb and Hyper Bomb. Hugo with Shootdown Backbreaker, Moonsault Press, Gigas Breaker, Megaton Press. Makoto with Karakusa. Necro with Slam Dance. Yun and Yang with Zenpou Tenshin. Q with Capture and Total Destruction. Gouki with Shin Goku Satsu. Ryu with Denjin Hadouken (can be parried, not blocked). Most people *would* disagree with me about ranking Sean higher. But at least get the facts straight.
rofffle, sounds like you need to get the stick out of your ass and stop quibbling over the name of a classification. can you block a throw? no? then it's unblockable, stfu stop being anal and enjoy the vid.
anyway I agree with dae, after sean lost I pretty much lost interest lol, seen too many yun vids already.
Fuck off jackass. If someone doesn't understand the difference between an ub and a throw, then its pretty obvious they don't play the game at a competitive level, and can't accurately say anyone is underrated.
I'm well aware that there are technical differences between a throw and an "unblockable move", but if you're gonna be trivial about differences just to win a stupid argument, you lose the right to get mad when someone points out that basically you're still wrong. A throw can't be blocked, period. Can't be blocked = unblockable last time I checked, unless we're not talking the same brand of the english language.
Its about context. Hadouken translates to something like "Surge Fist" but I'm not going to call it a punch even though it technically might be named one. You're the one thats going up in arms about trivialities. I was never arguing about that crap in the first place.
Nobody is gonna call that a punch if they see it in action, it's obviously not a punch. Meanwhile not calling a throw 'unblockable' even tho you can't block it makes total sense. Sure.
I don't understand what that has to do with anything, we're not talking about the name of something, we're talking about a guy listing off a number of moves THAT ARE NOT ABLE TO BE BLOCKED and then two other people are telling him oh those don't count cause of technicalities, that's petty at best.
He said he had not unblockable move. A move that can't be blocked is unblockable.
What we call AN unblockable is setups that can't be blocked like Urien's and Oro's. I am amazed by the stupidity and IQ of most posts here, grow up a bit.
> punishing damage? He deals damage worse than anybody in the game.
Wrong. Twelve and Necro do much worse damage. You might argue Necro has more strategic moves -- and most of them definitely have better recovery -- but did you see how much damage a simple standing roundhouse-Hadou Burst inflicted? Sean's problem isn't damage; it's that he has almost no combos, and no unblockable moves. All his special moves leave him out to dry if he misses.
Unblockable moves? Wtf are you talking about? Almost no character has unblockables. Sean's problem is he can ONLY deal decent damage with a super, however he has no decent ways to get meter besides throws and spamming mp. Necro and Twelve can both deal comparable damage with a super, but they have more tools than just a super.
Man, Thats a friggin understatement! I've never seen Sean in action like that before. Man after that battle with Yun i was ready to stop watching the vid cause Sean P got knocked out lol
YEAA go Sean thats what I'm talking about. If I had the money I would go to the tournaments with one character and thats Sean yeaa. Go super roll! lol
Sean has always been a bit underrated. He's got a good mixup game, fast recovery and, as we see here, punishing damage. I don't know why official tier lists put him below Twelve, Necro and Q, all three of which are very vulnerable to Sean's moves.
Tier ratings are not based on individual matchups. You couldn't make a consistent single tier list that way, because of rock/paper/scissors effects. Sean fares worse than Necro against most of the cast, and so is tiered lower than him even though Sean fares well against Necro.
what could be stupider than sitting on your fat ass playing a video game? Oh wait, I know, sitting sitting on your fat ass on youtube watching somebody else play a video game.
I know one, sitting on your ass trolling on youtube to mock people watching a video that shouldn't be offensive to you in the slightest. Interested in how exactly you came to come across to this video without searching it out first.
omg i dont even like 3S and this is epic!

When that basketball hit Ken's face, I thought of two things:
-Fresh Prince of Bel Air Theme, "Shootin' some b-ball outside the school."
-Parry that ball!

Easy tonto, don't get so tense over a game. ^^

unblockable is used in refernce to 'unblockable combo' as in unavoidable, throw isnt a combo and is avoidable.
argument solved, noobs
