  • why no one races against R1 is beyond me, they all beat R6's eventually with their top speed obviously cos its a 600....

  • An R6 with a good rider does mid 11s in the 1/4. 10 second street driven Camaros are a dime a dozen, they get 25mpg+ easy. With the LS1 all you need is rod bolts, forged pistons, a cam, and NOS. 600hp can be done for $3000 in your garage.

  • @bmays002 i hit 11.1 on my 1/4 for the time in a 1/4 track. i say mid 10's to high 10's is a good rider

  • Nice camaro but honestly you had a jump every race ... That R6 was reeling you in on a jump so i know it would take you on a fair even start .Learn to start a race with the horn damn car racers ate starting to cheat to win now :-/ what happen to fairness and integrity !

  • it dosent take a 1000 hp car to beat a 600cc bike. with ur average rider they run low to mid 11s . a 600hp car can run 10s if set up properly and a 1000 hp car generally is capable of 9s at the least. by friends 900 horse power stang runs low 9s

  • 600's tend to stop pulling hard about 120-- After that its pretty much alot less power but it will still do 165-170 easy.

    My R-6 pulls soo hard in 2nd i mean i can hit 110 or higher in 2nd...

    Idk its been a while since i rode winter sucks for us riders and riding that fast makes your hands go numb along with everything else.

  • wow it took a purposely built drag racing motor to beat a 600 that was built to go around a track. let me put a zx-rr engine from the moto gp bike in my ninja and we'll see who wins. the 636 obviously couldn't ride as he was losing to the r6 haha.

  • stock for stock or with the same mods and equal riders an r6 will never beat a 636. i ride with an 04, 05, and 06 r6 weekly and we all have equal riding experience and the basic slip-on and i blow them away every time. im also heavier than them at 190lbs to their 150-160lbs. this r6 either had more mods or he was a better rider.

  • Big deal he prolly only gets 5 mpg if that. I"ll stick with a bike thats just as fast and gets over 40mpg.

I have a vid vs an r1 if you really wanna see it. he pulls up 4 -5 cars, and i catch him by about 180 - 185

    and all a camaro needs to compete with a 600cc bike is a stall convertor,exhaust, rear-end gears, lid, drag radials and a 150 shot that set-up will net you mid-low 11's

    If you listen to the engine sounds from the bikes you can tell they arent even in the high RPM's that make power on the R6 and 636's.

  • @greasybenz No, depending on the car you don't need half that much. A well-tuned super/turbocharged Vette pushing 500ish to the wheels can walk a 600.

    Now a literbike, then you'd need closer to the 1k mark
