I couldn't agree more! I joined for one year with UBNJ and then canceled after I realized that only their higher ups get to hunt on all the newly opened land that they aquire and they could care less about the crossbows becoming legal. That just means more members for them.
Corzine ducked the issue by not voting for or against Sunday Bow hunting.
It was the UBNJ that helped lead the charge.
Lots of emails to elected officials worked. Corzine got the bear hunt banned. I think there was also a backlash to his bear ban thus Sunday hunting won as folks got tired of that taxing liberal.
I am happy to be able to hunt Sunday's this season!!!! Good luck to all!
@franklinfx I know this comment is old, but I've never seen it, What i meant by that comment about being lucky to have Corzine as governor (at the time, thank GOD for Gov. Christie) was the fact that he was too lazy to go over his paper work, so the bills just automatically PASSED. I hear thanks to Gov. Christie, Bear hunting in Jersey is BACK!
I hunt New Jersey very extensively each year ...last season was by far the best yet...I took a monster 8 point 206 lbs last season in whittingham wma zone 5...altogether I harvested 15 deer in Jersey last season...and what great eating they are as well...keep your feathers dry...
Nice job! Great recovery effort, and a good doe for the freezer! Thanks for doing the right thing when nobody was watching, this makes all bowhunters look better and better, and makes animal rights folks look worse and worse! Way to go! Good luck and a safe season in the 2008/2009 season.

Much luck, and a safe 2008/2009 season. See Ya in the woods!
I have to give you credit. Even though the kill wasn't caught on footage. You gave the tracking 100% and that's a bowhunter. So you got high rating's from black feather archery production.
I have to give you credit, You are showing the reality of hunting. Whether bow or firearm. And you didn't give up. You gave 100% like a real hunter. High rating's from black feather archery production.
They do, and they are caught off guard.. the best time, Hahahaha.

Sunday hunting is awesome, since sundays used to be the nicest weather days, but Zorzine was still a piece of shit in general.

UBNJ does nothing for NJ bowhunters you pay your dues and like the NRA they ask for more money.Besides they did not stop the crossguns.
BOW SEASON IN NJ ENDED WINTER BOW 2009.
