  • I know the feeling. My mom had breast cancer a couple of years ago. She's better and healthy now. I'll be doing a video on my other channel within the next couple of weeks about a cancer walk she is going to be sponsering. I'll send you a link to the video when I post it.

  • colette i just wanted to let you know that no matter what i know in my heart that you will not only have an excellent support group with your family noo matter what but you will also always have your youtube family(ex:viewers subscribers etc) to love & support you always. my stepgrandmother beat breast cancer a few years ago but i know how scary it was thinking about how we might lose her. i couldn't imagine losing my mother at such a young age but that just proves how strong you are

  • Hi Colette,

I'm 19 and just recently found out my 21 year old sister has breast cancer. She is the first in my family so it has been extremely hard on all of us. Her and I have been best friends since I can remember, so it has been especially hard on me. Thank You for opening up and talking about such a touchy topic to a lot of people. You are truly amazing.

    Much Love xx

  • I love you Katilette! The tough times make us stronger and better people. God usually takes the best ones first... I learnt that when he took my big sister

"No matter what the storm or bad whther may be in your life... you can be the sunshine wherever you are".

  • My sister passed away of Leukumia (cancer of the blood) two years ago, and for about 1 and a half years I isolated myself from everyone and my personality completely chaged becuase she was my big sister and truly my best friend.I can't celebrate my birthday knowing the only person who NEVER forgot it isn't here It hurts so bad and it was a really dark time, it took me soo long to heal but anyone whose lost a loved one, just keep your head up and I PROMISE it gets better and the pain goes away!

  • When you posted this vlog I had a really hard time watching it. Last year my Mom was battling breast cancer and October was the hardest month with treatment and surgery. Being 17 and away at college and trying to be there for my Mom through most of it was a struggle. This video helped me to be stronger and to stop trying to avoid the mentioning of breast cancer and helping my Mom more through her battle. Now she is officially cancer free and I appreciate it so much. You three are amazing.

  • My great aunt was cleared of her cancer on her birthday last year but this year my 2nd aunt died of lung cancer I will never forget while she was about 1 month from death the hug she gave me it was strong and resilient like she was she used her strength all of it just for my hug it was long I didnt want to let go nor did she but I had to I wish she was still here today she was an amazing person

  • I also lost my mother to breast cancer. I'm going to take a look through the bead artist's website and make a purchase for friends

  • @911isfunnyashellLMAO wow.. can't believe you said that. so heartless.

  • My Grandmother past away last year because of Cancer, I think what your doing is amazing and I I'm going to donate as well. Your amazing, and your mother must have been beautiful because you are beautiful. :)

  • the Bible is NEVER changed!! that's not true. the words used change, to make it easier to read, but the truths and meanings of the (Christian) Bible have never been changed.

  • @oliveyou64 what do you mean isn't? When the bible says "The earth is 6000 years old" is that a joke or a lie? When the bible says that the earth is the center of the universe, is that a lie or a joke? I don't understand why the all mighty god would want to confuse the creatures he created in his own image like that...

  • @oliveyou64 The science explanation for the creation of the universe is the big bang theory of course and I don't have the time to tell you everything that happend between that and the creation of life on earth. I don't know everything about it of course, I am no scientist. But at least I am not blind, easily manipulated and dumb enough to believe in a religion which has a holy book which you have to change every now and then because it's explanations of scientific things are dead wrong.

  • @oliveyou64 There are very good explanations for these things if you read some science. Still I don't understand how you can know that there is a heaven.

  • @oliveyou64 Oh realy? Cool... How do you know this?

  • @oliveyou64 Oh yeah... That real place that excists and stuff...

  • How can you be with her again if she is dead? :S

  • who could dislike this? weirdos! Great job Mommytard!

  • This video brings out the best in people. We all have a katilette in our hearts, every year I run Race For Life. Which is where women all throughout the UK run 5km or 10km for Breast Cancer. Last year I raised 291% of our target of £200.00. This year I am going to run it again. I would truly appreciate if the people of Youtube will donate through the official website. 100% of your money goes to it, we dont even touch it. You can also add gift aid which is free. Check out my channel in future. <3

  • My mom was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer dec23,2010. 15+ hospital visits 2-3 weeks each,2-3 intensive care unit visits, chemotherapy, radiation, breathing treatments 3 times daily,5 oxygen tanks later she's beaten cancer and possibly fight 2 starting soon. Thanks to you your husband shay, and the kids I've been smiling and laughing everyday if it wasn't for you and your family I wouldn't be here

  • when i was 12 my mother was diagnose with cancer but it wasn't advanced i was young and felt like dying my grades started to go down at school but faith got me through and my mom went through chemotherapy and now a year later she is done and i am soo happy now that i know everything is going to be fine...

  • Ohmy, this made me cry ;( I could'nt bear to lose my mum, but sadly lost my nana to cancer :( RIP Grandmatard & Nana xoxoxoxox

  • Katilette, you are truly a beautiful person inside and out. I know how very personal this was for you, and I applaud you for putting this video on. You'll never know how many people you have helped by doing this.Shay and the kids are so fortunate to have such a wonderful, caring person in there lives. God Bless You and your family always, John

  • Katilette, I am not sure if you are going to get this or not, but this really touched my heart.I lost my mom to a heart condition when I was 10 years old.(July 3rd, 2004) and I am now about to be 17. I know how you feel about trying to avoid it and push it aside. The hardest part to me about loosing a mother is the fact that the biggest things in a young womans life like having a baby, getting married, going to prom, your first date, you don't have a mother to help you through it! It's so hard!

  • @ShealorTaylor I'm so sorry for your loss. Your story has touched and broken my heart simultaneously. I hope that you do all these things in your future with a partner that will see you through thick and thin. Never lose hope and I wish you all the best. Love from a stranger.

  • @SoleSoulility Thank you so much. It's never going to get easier, but I am getting stronger. And I have the Lord to thank for that. God Bless you.(: You truly are an Angel.

  • My Mom died from Colon Cancer, in October 18 years ago, right after my 20th birthday. I'd been her primary caregiver the nearly 3 years she fought.

It is wonderful that you're doing your share (and more) to help fight the cause. As a mother myself now, I can say I think your Mom would be very proud of you for many reasons, but to help another Mom stay alive to watch her children grow, is a major bonus :)

I didn't donate here, but did donate thru another site for BCA.

  • why would anyone dislike/thumbs down this!?
