NO DOWNLOAD how to change your ip address using a batch file

This doesn't change the IP address unless you have a DHCP server somewhere. Plus your NIC DHCP should be enabled in order to obtain IP but to to configure a proper batch that will give you an IP address which you want as Static place the following command line into a notepad and then save to changeip.bat and then run it as administrator..

"Wireless Network Connection" is the name of your lan card on the control panel, static is the type of configuration, 192.168.1.99 << the Static IP address.

255.255.255.0 is the subnet mask.

192.168.1.254 is the gateway.

1 is the metric config

Didn't work for me. Went to whatismyip(dot)com and it hadn't changed it. The only way I am able to change my ip address, is to turn my modem off for a few hours and then when I turn it back on, and go to that website, it has changed. But yeah this didn't work for me. o_O
