i know both of those bands but the only thing grind about them is the vocals and bass everything else is pretty much death metal grindcore is like another version of death metal only i like strait forward death metal better for some reason idk why

Vile is brutal death metal which is heavier than death metal. The vocalist does sound grindcore-esque, but regardless the music is still brutal death. The CD I have of this has a diff vocalist on it who sounds less grind but I actualy like the vocals on this video better. His "long E" screams are so fucking sick ex. at :26 seconds

Vile is fucking BOSS! One of my favorite death metal bands for sure. Check out the band Hour of Penance too, they sound somewhat in a Vile 'vein' as well.
