OK - one of 89 employees donated to Prop 8. This was enough to demonstrate, boycott, harass customers and that one employee. So the standard is that if 1/89 of a business's employees voted for Prop 8, you will do these things to that business.

Given this 1/89 standard you set with El Coyote, and more than half the state voted for Prop 8, are there any businesses that you can patronize? Looking at you from the other side, your stand appears to have removed you from our economy.

Do I HAVE to eat there? Boycotting has always been a form of peaceful protest - Don't you get it? It's the alternative to acting violently. Why support someone who not only doesn't support you, but actively tries to harm your life?

She isn't an employee, she's part owner of a restaurant that makes the majority of their money from us - the gay community. (GAY NIGHT? HA!) The only backlash is from religious zealot bigots.

I am happy to see all the demonstrations taking place since prop 8 passed (barely). It's great to see the outpouring of people taking a stand against bigotry and discrimination.

As for the comments condemning this protest, I disagree. The person who contributed is manager and the daughter of the owner. They make their money from the gay community and even have a "gay night". They have employees who are gay. The protesters brought awareness to the bigotry.

It's not a big difference. I live in Orange County. I am straight and I went out and campaigned for the No On Prop 8 camapign. I SAW WITH MY OWN EYES HOW THE RELIGIOUS FREAKS WERE ACTING..all the way down to a woman being hit on the side of the head by a bottle thrown from a truck.I could not even keep a No On Prop 8 sign in my yard without a religious freak taking a knife too it.Civil Rights issues belong in the COURTS,not by who can run a better campaign or throw the bigger temper tantrum.
