My cat gags too when I try to give him whipped cream. It's lactose free cream, of course, but he will still gag. Once he even threw up a hair ball. It's weird because he used to love whipped cream and eat it enthusiastically. Now he can't even smell it.
my cat does the same exact thing to many various foods! i've yet to capture good video footage. there is one video on my page where we tried one nite....
is this a rare thing? i dont see many "gagging cats" when i search here. my mia kitty does the same thing, i'll have to post it, she gags with milk products mainly. weird. beautiful cat though. :)
gagging at different foods can be a sign of kitty asthma or nasal issues...you should consult your vet

icing, mayo, butter, peanut butter, some cheeses, but he eats plastic and rubberbands, oh and toilet paper
