  • Pls inform me what slow cooker are you using ;)

  • @MrHalszka It's a Rival 4 quart (small - red clr) slow cooker. I purchased it a while ago at Target. It's a bit small, but perfect for my husband and I :)

  • I'm allergic to peanuts, could I use EVOO or coconut oil?

  • @Bastette24 Vegetable oil or canola oil would be better b/c they have a higher smoke point and impart no flavor on to the food being cooked. If you wanted to use evoo just keep the heat at medium/ high so that it does not burn :)

  • You have a beautiful dutch oven (probably Le Creuset).

Why not use it for the chicken as well?

  • @stap0510 Hi- I do use that for chicken as well; but I like using the crockpot b/c I can leave it on and leave the house at the same time. It's great when there's a lot to do during the day :)

  • nicely done

  • @EasyRecipesHQ Thank you :)

  • Hi. I'm new to crock pot cooking, (actually to cooking period!) . How do I slow cook the chicken? With water...oil? Thanks!

  • @danluvgtr1 For this recipe you first brown the chicken in a fry pan, or if you have a crockpot with the stove top insert then you can simply brown the chicken in that first. Then to slow cook the chicken you add the sauce to the chicken in the crockpot and let it cook for 8 hours on low - covered. To cook meat in a crockpot you would use a liquid such as this sauce :)

  • Very helpful! Thanks!

  • @danluvgtr1 Thank you for watching

  • trying this today... hopefully i wont messed it up xD

  • OMG...I am soooo hungry now after watching yer videos. Great job and I can't wait to try and cook some of these myself.

  • I miss the introduction you use to do, Lila. It made me look forward to the recipe and it also personalised it, too.

  • You must be thin because the fat is always removed from your recipes.

  • Hey what happened whit: Hi my name is Lila and wolcome to my kitchen... Pleace dont take that away from me jejejejeje

  • yeah we miss that!

  • That was a good video, Thanks

  • cool looks very tasty i would probably add chili flakes just to make it spicy

  • For variation, can I cut up and fry the chicken with the batter mix you used for the sweet and sour chicken and use the sauce you made for the orange chicken?

  • Yes - that sounds lke a great idea :)

  • Looks Yummy! :)
