  • How long do welded diffs last doing this? I want to lock up my winter beater. I've driven around in winter with locked diffs before, just curious how the 240 holds up specifically...

  • good shit but really its not that hard if ya got ur diff locked and the ground wet lol :)

  • When in doubt, let her out :) nice moves mate

  • rev higher

  • Looks a lot better than I would have suspected with stock suspension. Keep it up.

  • Yeah you really don't suck haha. Suggestion though, I would upgrade to some stiffer shocks if you haven't already.. just to make sure you don't wear your suspension system out. It looks like you were getting things done too easily for there not to be, but limited slip could help. Heck, I know this vid's old but hey, I'm a fellow enthusiast as well - I have a 1992 240 Base model (fastback) myself :)

  • do u use e-brake? or u just let the car slide?

  • you really don't suck haha

  • skills

  • that a baby, Im looking to a 240 coupe right now to build

  • @d82l a locker is going to behave pretty much the same way and 2 ways are more annoying with the clunking like the whole rear end is going to fall out of the car. And I've never really a problem with the back end skipping around unless I had 2 different tires on the back or a bad alignment. And in the wet you just have to be smart and remember that it is locked lol... My mom drove my car in the rain with a welded never noticed anything step however spun out in 3 intersections really depends on

  • Ought to think about calling someplace with a big parking lot, setting up something - I occasionally ride with some stunt bikers here, and there's a church that lets us use their parking lot for stunting every sunday. You may be able to set something up with a local business where they'd let you do this without being hassled by the cops.

  • work that 120hp WORK IT

  • Got Skill bro! what Diff you have on the Coupe?

  • Thanks bro! Diff is welded. :)

  • not bad man, not too bad at all

  • Thank you.

  • Good job. Learn to drive first, add power later to make things easier and better. That's the best way : )

  • Water makes the car seemlike it has 500 hp lol and it saves tires =)

  • i hate ignorant ass people you dont need power, suspension you dont need a diff it doesnt even need to be 5 speed you just have to do it....

ok video keep practicing and half wet half dry conditions are no buneo

  • @bikerskater

im sure an automatic car can drift. Looks like you're the ignorant cunt. DO you even know why drifting cars needs to be manual and have a diff??

    Learn some mechanics moron.

  • @441meatloaf

ya i do know why but if you read my post correctly you would read i that i said you dont need to have anything and that you just need to do it. and learn some mechanics? i will out do you in anything watch some of my videos and tell me i cant slide then go to @revolover345 profile and watch some more of my videos and tell me i cant drift or know nothing i will out slide you any day in any car stock or not faggot

  • @bikerskater

It really is pointless to try and upstage some random people on youtube. Its like saying I'm normal and i entered in special olympics for the disabled.

  • nah you're ok at it man. sounds/looks like you'd benefit from welding the dif or installing a good lsd

  • amazing!!!

  • nice..man i got my 240 power twin cam sk24 bur cant drift fro $%^ lol very nice bro!!

  • Hell yeah, nice vid

  • dude that rocked keep it up

  • lawl 0:57 sounds like a 4age :p I wanna see some track footy!

  • what do you got in ur car..did you weld diff or any kinda diff lockers

  • good catch on the slowing down drift at :50

i had an sr20 240..... sold it... now i rock an is300.. vids to come soon

  • Doing pretty nice in a 100hp car ;d

  • yeah man i like that keep doing that a know what you feel

  • quick question, does welding the diff damage it at all that over time the diff will just give up and break? and also i will assume it will cause the tires to wear out quicker than normal

  • @Flipster1325

tires do wear faster but if you drift their going to wear out anyway.

welding the diff doesnt damage it. been riding a welded for years, blew out my subframe spacers so just upgrade to some solid risers and boom. good to go

  • @Flipster1325

doesnt make tires wear out faster its a common misconception because you end up drifting more so you go through tires more thats the only way daily driving they will go a little faster then normal like normal you wold get 70k on tires you get 68k and no diffs dont normally break unless you had someone shitty weld it

  • @bikerskater Yeh, wear is fine, but can't forget it does make the car behave very strangely in normal driving, especially in the wet. Back end skips all over the place over bumps and such. Best bet is to just get a locker - good excuse to change your gear oil too, since its almost never done.

  • drift when its dry out then well talk

  • @phaez301 drifting is the same skill whether its dry or wet. one just needs more throttle than the other.

  • @heterosapien69 you sit on a throne of lies!

  • @heterosapien69

no it is not peoples skill increase by like 6x in the wet then in the dry because it is easier

  • how much did you pay for it just to get a good idea of what i have to pay. i know coupes are a significant amount more for some reason

  • i know this is dumb but what exactly do coilovers do?

  • well played

  • Thank you.

  • what year is this car???

  • '89

  • do u have a welded diff by any chance?

  • Yes.

  • @HypnotizeDRFT but can you still drive normal with a welded diff or do's the car slides when you make a turn?

  • Yes you can, the thing about the welded diff is that is fights back at you when you make sharp or u-turns. But you have to be very cautious on wet conditions especially when you have a lot of wear on your tires, you will lose control so i recomend that you should drive responsibly. It is very easy to lose traction with a welded diff.

  • @HypnotizeDRFT ok thanks for your help! :D

  • nice vid. i reckon you got skills and nice base car. keep training and i hope to see more

  • Thank you.

  • You've got skills, man!

  • Thank you!

  • that was fuckin sick man. nice car

  • Thank you.

  • I like at .44 secs the whoa car lol but nice goin proves you don't need much power to go have fun just a 240sx and common sense behind the wheel and from here you can only get better

  • nice, looks a lot like my car

  • Comment removed

  • you need suspension man. You will be able to control the car alot better with some coilovers.

  • That was six different types of badass!

  • Thank you so much!

  • Not drifting.

  • dam straight

  • my fav part @54 secs. nice drifting.

  • Thank you.

  • do it without the ground being wet

  • Will do very soon.

  • do u accelerate, brake, then accelerate and turn to drift, how do you do it?

A lot easier when its raining out

  • are you in 2nd gear most of the time?

  • Yes.

  • :56 was a pretty sick entry

  • Thanks.

  • you runnin the ka24e or de?

    either way nice sliding.

  • KA24DE, thanks btw.

  • i remember playing initial d with you. lulz

  • nice i love the stockness level ! FTW

  • Any plans for coils yet? What you thinking of buying?

  • I currently have Kei Office coilovers which are in the process of rebuild.

  • I just admire the fact that you're out there drifting with what seems to be a very close to (or maybe completely) stock 240sx, while most people are always bitching about "oh I need more power or coilovers before I drift"

    Props to you sir.

  • Thank you so much!

  • THAT WAS ACTUALLY NICE!

  • Thank you!

  • shits great dude. keepin it off the streets... kinda haha

  • Haha thanks, abandoned streets and industrial areas are the best, it keeps me away from people.

  • GAYGAYGAYGAYGAY.... im sorry visual tuning...ROFL you all sucks balls seriously this aint drifting its some local punkass homo ripping his Ebrake and sliding in the wet....!! you SUCK

  • u can go suck balls somewhere else, hes better than u, get over it

  • ok... as you can see he is not a pro, i believe its actually pretty good taking in consideration that his car is all stock with just a welded diff.

    pretty good HypnotizeDRFT!

  • @DrRobbo are you serious? THIS is how it all started. the roots of drifting. get it straight

  • @DrRobbo Alright then Tough guy. lets see you post some better videos of some "real drifting"

  • @DrRobbo

    lol just another jealous hater

  • you should do some visual tuning these cars are awsome when teir tuned =)

  • Ahhh..damn....I miss my gold coupe :(

  • BTW, I noticed your local. Where in Fl is this?

  • Wow! That's amazing on a completely stock S13. I'm going to start sliding my hatch pretty soon. Do your front tires wear down any from this? I ask because I only have 2 spares to mess around with, and I'm not sure if I should get 2 extras for the front.

  • what mods were done to the car then? if any.

  • Only welded diff at that time.

  • sweet sideways action

don't you hate how some douchebag with nothing better to do calls the cops when you're having fun

    I mean WTF? right?

it's happened to me a few times fortunately for me the cops were cool about it and said to leave before they saw me and would report that i had left before they got there lol

  • Thanks, haha.

  • nice, i have a 240sx hatch, its auto sadly, nice water drifting, i did some last night, ur was like 2 times better though!

  • Thank you!

  • how does your s13 have flip up lights here in aus.. we have s13s with normal fronts?

  • Because you actually have a Silvia. We have the 240SX. 2.4L KA24DE NA motor instead of the SR20DET. That and the front end are pretty much the only big differences aside from left hand drive.

  • so im guessing you'd rather have the sr20's yeah? ive never heard of a KA24DE.. but thanks for the reply.. much appreciated

  • Not really. I'm keeping my KA and turbocharging it. They seem to be better in the low RPMs than the SR20. Why waste a perfectly fine engine? haha

  • KA24DET FTW!

    Thanks for explaining skateanddestroy13.

    :)

  • No problem man. =) Keep that coupe clean!

  • It's a Onevia. The opposite of a SilEighty

  • i'm probably going to pick one up for like $500

  • umm can u make me miss my 240 anymore?!?!?! lol sick!!!! but i officially hate u for makin me sad panda.. lol pretty awesome.. ps dont sell ur car.. ever!!!

  • Haha, Thank you!

  • man thats so clean

  • Thank you.

  • people who hate action suck

    haha

    nice work

  • Thanks!

  • lol! amazing for a stock car seriously.

btw, juz asking. did the car have a LSD or open diff?

  • Thank you!

I had a open diff and now i got it welded from a friend.

  • wow realy good for a stock car keep it up

  • Thank you!

  • nice

  • nice drifting, cops suck

  • Thank you!

  • lol guessing this was in houston tx cuase of hurricane ike

    lol

I am also surprised that no one called the cops or something.

Still, very nice, just be careful man, I dont want to see you in the statistics.

    :)

  • Someone did call the fuzz but i left early because i had that feeling, i hid at a post office around there watching the vids then i left when i saw cops strolling the block.
