k, wtf, cancer dosent kill you isntantly, it dosent just kill you alll of the sudden, it takes days for the toumor to grow big enough to kill you. MGS tries too hard to be realistic with all its science stuff, really it shouldnt because it is pure fantasy. there are no such things as cyborg ninjas in real life, vampires do not exist (vamp), humans cannot shoot electricity through their hands (colenol volgin), and liquid living off of ocelots arm is just... just beyond stupid.

@PsychoAnon Johnny "Akiba" is the guard that Meryl beats up and steals the clothes from in MGS1, He laters shows up in MGS1 again during the jail cell sequence and gets the shits. He THEN shows up in MGS2 as an easter egg if you use the Directional Mic during the catwalk sequence, when Vamp stabs Otacon's sister. His, I want to say grandfather makes an appearance in MGS3 (I could be wrong there).

For me it's the ending with Big Boss but in terms of music, it's 'Enclosure' that plays during the death of Sniper Wolf and Naomi Hunter. The most emotional part is at 5:26 (of this video) and made more so by the 9 second build up to it ! !:'(

and was made with Big Boss' inferior genes

Liquid died because of Solid and Solidus was used as a pawn

Big Boss was used to kill the Boss for Money and Power

The Boss knew of her fate and saw it through to the end

Number 3 wasn't sad, just a massive WTF moment. Number one was one of the most dramatic moments in gaming history, but by far the saddest one was number 2; poor Otacon can never be happy.

If you pay attention during Act 2 you can actually see Naomi going through some pain, probably from the cancer. So that was a earlier sign that she wasn't well. Basically it wasn't totally out of the blue. Also she was exposed to levels of radiation during her genetics research.

@gear2ice Either that, or they were just sad because they thought that seeing how they got on in MGS1, that Snake would be with Meryl, but instead the guard that got knocked out in MGS1 got her, instead I found the scenes during the Microwave Corridor sadder, we were watching Raiden's doomed battle against overwhelming numbers, Meryl and Johnny were shot repeatedly and the battle was goin badly outside, combined with the agonising sight of snake going through it was painful to watch.

@chanse51 I believe it was somewhere in Act 2 (correct me if I am wrong): Snake gets a camouflage mask that allows him to appear younger than what he actually is. I preferred to use it a lot, myself.
