I actually really like this choreography to this song; I think it works very well, and it goes without saying that she's technically perfect. The two things that bothered me, though, were the high ponytail and that she seems a little too young to be that suggestive. Of course, there is much worse out there. I would just prefer to see her perform this kind of solo (though outstanding) a little later in high school, you know? like 17/18. A few years do make a difference in personal maturity.

I was reading some of the comments made about Jessica Richens performance and Shannon Mathers choreography; although they can defend themselves, but really and truly, anyone having a problem with this performance, needs to go back and ask their teacher, what is good technique? Shannon Mathers and everyone at Dance Precisions has amazing technique! Other than Denise Wall Dance Energy, I do not know of any other Dance Studio that has more graduates from that studio that have been on SYTYCD.

@jrberry Alot of people get the misconception that alot of "Shannon's" dancers are technically trained by her. Most of the dancers you've seen have migrated from other studios and brought over their technique. She may train style but no Dance Precisions dancer has had their technique taught by Shannon I don't think.

AWESOME technique !! Really great dancer !! I read alot of comments on her expressions. I don't think it was inappropriate but there's indeed something that doesn't feel right about it. Watching the routine it felt like she was too young for the 'nature' of the choreography. Maybe thats just it. She was doing her best trying to assume the character of the piece but just ain't able to do so at the age she is... that'd be my analyses on it... but I don't necessarily hold the truth either !!!
