I feel like not many people know just how good and versatile this gun is, if you put a silencer and range on the MP5 and use specialist, you will do really well. It's like a sub-machine assault rifle. But not overpowered like the MP7

I really don't like this series as it doesn't use facts from the game data, so I feel like it is too simple, the recommendations on perks and killstreaks are poor as for some perk loadouts, you only explain one of the perks, such as recon in this one, not stopping to explain the others, only giving one choice for each "class" seems bad too. The kill streaks seem randomly put together, carepackage doesn't help you reach 7 or 10, and the assault drone isn't that great either.

@zim3x Most smaller guns wield smaller caliber bullets, thus meaning they lose velocity over distance. Velocity is the power of the bullet during its impact. Since this gun uses pistol ammunition its rip and tear power are up close.

Silencer, Range/Kick (I prefer range to offset the silencer otherwise you need to get in SUPER close) & Specialist with Blind Eye, Assassin & Stalker set as default perks immediately going into scavenger, then quickdraw and finally either marathon or steady aim depending on your preference (once you get that 8th kill it doesn't matter anyway since you'll be in beast mode)

@Malacite This is all well and good, however most people don't seem to realize exactly WHY you have the option of 5 loadout slots... Most people think they have 5 classes for the case of when you are bored and want to try something new, but the real reason is so you can play objectively effectively - use a loadout with a weapon designed for longer distances on larger maps, and short range for smaller maps where mobility becomes a larger factor (hence, SMGs). So the idea is to not have sil+range.

@Malacite You want to maximize the effectiveness of each class you have, and I have to agree with the commentator that kick or focus are more important, especially at closer range - you want to have a more effective spread than your opponent that you are staring directly into. Also, I like to have Hardline for my custom perk which reduces the specialist strikechain by 1, and opt for quickdraw + scav + assassin (beast mode at kill 7). I find that 1 less kill makes a BIG difference a lot! :)

this gun is shit in the first place compared to several others SMGs. its probably the second worst SMG in terms of fun/use. You want a great SMG? Go with the pp9 or the mp7. You want a SMG with range and versatility? Go with the ump. You find yourself running out of ammo a lot then pick up the p90. You wanna go nuts and hip fire like a mad man that just got out of the psych-ward? than use the pm-9. If you wanna be completely bored playing a 60$ game go with the dull unimpressive mp5.
