On September 11th I was aboard the USS Carl Vinson in the Arabian Gulf. I was an ordnanceman in the Navy. It was our turn to be the ready carrier in the area. October 7th the attacks started and continued for 72 consecutive days. We dropped 2 million lbs. of bombs on them. This day brought upon great change in not only the world, but for me as well. I will never forget that crazy experience. I can imagine it was crazy to be where you were too. Those poor people.
