Awesome... It took me a few tries before I realized it wasn't worth even using a blue mage for this one. All muscle! I let 6 rats through though... my technique's a bit flawed :)
On Unknown Ruins I used fully maxed out mage skills so the map was pretty easy. Just put a bunch of fire mages in the spots, then buy more land and put more mages.
Critical is pretty much useless because it rarely happens, and it's better just to have higher damage.

Why don't let the Dexers get any specialist when they level up? I mean, for critical.

A paladin is one of those special dexers that cost 250 to create. Go to the skills menu and upgrade the paladin skills twice to unlock it.

it costs 300 but if you have persuader skill it only costs 250
