If you watch the chapters released after this introduction you would know what they are really doing. Almost everything changed. And perl is in fact a very good scripting language, lua may be better on some sides, but it's still good (very good).

That's a great idea. Separating the two subjects might have some cons though, being too serious might be boring and being too lenient might draw to one crowd. And yes it is very time consuming.

I've actually watched the videos to pick up few things as I took up some classes at a nearby college.
