This may LOOK like mac os x, but it is nothing like it. The best thing to do is to get some kind of tweaked version of leopard that runs on any computer. I myself own a macbook and this might look like it but it's not mac os x.

I prefer to "waste" some time doing this for fun than paying thousand of dollars in overpriced hardware. Wondering if a $2,799.00 Mac Pro can replace my $900 Server? For me, an OS is nothing else than a tool to help me communicate with dumb hardware and devices to make money out of it, period. The entire world runs on Windows. So many people can not be wrong. You get what you pay for, an awesome OS. I'm not saying Vista as bad. In fact, I like Vista. I just like Mac OS X more. Macs are expensive, I'll give you that. But it's worth it. You'll end up paying a bit extra for windows programs that are similar to the ones Mac comes with. The price will probably still be lower than a Mac, but not by as much. I love the design built into a Mac. The OS isn't that much better than Windows. It's the design of the computer that I love.

Both operating systems are great. I just meant that I wouldn't go to all that trouble just to make Vista look like Mac. Okay, so it's not that hard to do that. You download Rocketdock or something, use windows blinds, and bam. Mac OS. But I don't think that's why you bought Vista.

Btw, I love my Mac Pro. Worth every cent. You like your server, that's great. I'm fine with that. Everyone has the right to buy and use whatever they want. Sorry if I was a bit rude with my first comment, but my opinion still stands.

Yes, I bought Vista because 90% of programmers run their code in Windows and not OSX. Vista is productive enough for my needs. If I ever happen to need an OS based on UNIX I'll go with FREE Linux anytime (I have 2 Linux boxes running at home)You pay for design, I look for something else. We have dissimilar interests so we acquire products according to our needs.Nothing wrong with Macs.They are expensive and their OS is tight to their propitiatory hardware but it works for many, excluding myself.

but yesterday i got ivista installer, it was not stable in my home premium and even i can't log in after i reboot. Now i turn back to normal.

did I install the wrong version..?

iVista "installer" was dropped some time ago and hasn't been maintained. You should go for WindowBlinds, etc as shown in the iVista guide.
