Slash has got it going for him right now. He has no intention of ever coming back to GNR. Axel does have a huge ego but then again he's a singer. As for this video, I think it kicked ass back then and still does today. Axel and Tom did a fantastic job and it was a great performance.

How could anyone Really think he sounds bad? You have to either just hate him as a person, not know music very well, or be a complete moron. He is improvising the chorus, and puts a twist to the song most vocalists arent even good enough to do (tom petty).. If you notice when Axl comes in he immediately takes lead vocals... his voice overpowers pettys so much that tom becomes like a whisper. Petty is a monotoned singer, he doesnt fluctuate axl EVER. Because he isnt a vocalist like Axl..
