i had an iphone 3g and i gave it for a g1 and my brother gat a palm pre and i really i mean really lke both of them much more than the iphone

I'm envious of the iPhone's apps, but it seems so big compared to the Pre and I like to keep my phone in my pocket. What don't you like about the iPhone?

dont get me wrong i like the iphone but the prob is that the iphone is more like for entertaiment u know it does got the best games a phone could have but since im in school i really need a phone that can help me out and i really whant to be able costum make my phone to my advantage the iphone just puts all apps in the front but thats pretty much everything

The Pre live updates your email. If you have the email app closed, you still get a notification that you have an email and the title and sender are displayed. You can swipe sideways to delete the notification without opening the email app, and this doesn't delete the email.

Being able to reply to every intelligent comment is a byproduct of having a film degree, i.e. I have ZERO JOB POSSIBILITIES.

I keep hearing bad things about AT&T. It's enough to be a deal-breaker on the iPhone. I actually have a friend with the 3Gs model, and a friend with T-Mobile's G1. I'm sure the Pre beats both on a hardware level, and certainly on plan costs. I pay only $55 per month, with 450 minutes and unlimited EVERYTHING else.

My friend with the G1 fell for a trap. He has 400 anytime minutes, and free weekends. He doesn't have free nights, nor does he have free texting and GPS. He pays $70 per month and can't hardly use his phone.

Oh, and the Pre gets video recording soon. Should be suitable for video blogging between complex shoots.

Fact: the iPhone has way more apps. GUESS WHAT THAT MEANS DUMBASS? If you buy an iPhone TODAY, you have access to more apps than a Pre owner. AND THAT is worth pointing out.

It's small, and being a real man, I don't have an assistant. My HV20 wouldn't clearly show the display of the phone, keep it in focus, or make for a professional video with me holding it. If you crave bad camerawork, I'm sure some teen under the Related Videos has what you want.
