Saw your crash... It seems that you made out without noteworthy injuries. That turn is indeed nasty. Had an experienced rider low site in front of me in that exact location. Not pretty. And you can see how I tip-toed through. And your comment about riding in groups is largely true. Small groups with known riders results in reduced risk. Stay safe...
a lot of police?? .. hm.. i was just there this weekend.. i love that road.. but a lil slow on those turns but you did good job.. im thinking about going back there this weekend before all the leaves start falling.. =)
It's in Virginia. Actually shot that video last year. Unfortunately, the police have all but shut down that portion of Rt. 211 to sportbikes due the number of accidents and fatalities. It is indeed a tempting stretch of highway with pavement as smooth as glass and a passing lane that allows the higher speeds. Alas, it is no more an option. :(

nice riding. as far as cops goes, the mountain is not that over run. casulties... there have been a few but what road hasnt had them so ride hard.
