Netbooks have apps as well, theyre called .exe fiels. And last time I checked there wasn't wrong with reading something from paper, and it's always useful to have a book that doesnt have batteries that run out.

evan u dont get it, the doesnt ipod touch has a hd led screen, or 2 ghertz processor, it doesnt haves a word processor, it doesnt have full itunes on it, it doesnt support the apps that are going to be made for it like all the productivity apps like film makin. & ofcourse its big, thats the whole point, so you can view everything better, its not made to be a pocket device, its made to be a product inbetween the phone and computer. this is what people were saying when the smartphone came out
@bittman25 this is a pad, not a notebook, not a smartphone. they are all different devices meant to be used in different occasions.
this is much more comfortable to use if you are just browsing the net, looking some pictures or to read a book than a notebook, but when you need more intensive tasks like office, video editing, programming or whatever then you will need a notebook or even a desktop.
