attention every one who gets on here in the future. you DO need cfw to make a pandora battery and memory stick. the point of a pandora battery and magic mem. stick is to install cfw. there is a way to install custom firmware without pandora battery. but it is easier with a pandora battery. if any body has any questions then ask me. if i get enough questions then i will make a video about it.

a pandora battery puts a psp into service mode allowing you to hack it and a magic memory stick is used for putting the hacks and cfw (custom firmware) on the psp so the battery can install it i messed up my first psp while trying to put cfw on it so make sure you do it slowly and carefully it is possible to brick it which means it wont come on again you can however get it to unbrick if you have a friends psp another pandora battery and a magic memory stick..
