I'm really stuck on this part, do the drudge keep coming through the conduits? Or can you just stay back there and wait for all of them to come and thats it?
This is what I did: After I killed the first batch of enemies, I waited outside for the smaller group that was inside to come out a few seconds later (if you're low on something use this time to restock). I killed the second group and went inside and blew up the conduits. It also helps if you kept the super gun you find earlier in this stage since you can kill the conduits (and enemies) with one shot. Keep in mind that while you're fighting outside the aliens are spawning and grouping up inside.
it doesn't have the art style of metroid, zelda, and even mario, and it plays at 30FPS which is a bit jittery, but it's functional and consistant. shading and specularity is good, but design is a bit flawed. in other words, it's above average. i didn't care much for the single player mode. the multiplayer and controls are what makes this game stand out.
it was quite short, beat the single player in 8 hours. but i spent at least 30 online. i heard call of duty: world at war had better online, but the conduit is fun and fast-paced enough.
this level is designed well, but it's not as challanging as it could be. if you do things smart, the level is quite easy. maybe the higher difficulty levels make up for it.
my first try took me a while. my second attempt also took many continues. but this is my third time playing and i didn't need any continues at all. once you know where the drudge forces come out and when to use the health packs, it becomes much easier. i might repeat this on the servere difficulty once i can get good at it :)
lacks boss fights, but the onslaught of enemies it throws at you at the end of missions can be just as bad as a boss. This area alone took me many tries to get passed, but I was also still getting used to the controls.
most of my deaths were counted toward the enemy hordes. but they're not really strategic. clear out the enemies as fast as possible and take out the spawners. take cover and make sure the health packs go a long way. switch your weapons to the two needed most, and you'll be fine.
no worries. the enemy hordes might not be as strategic, but that means the gameplay has less chances to slow down. it's frantic the whole way through! i'll be sure to post more gameplay videos.
Hehe did this part on severe (5/5). Don't try that at home, kids. A few minutes in I thought it was impossible.

Well, fuck. If I'd have known I could charge up that gun, I probably wouldn't have just wasted an hour on this level.

the Jefferson Memorial ambush will forever be cemented in minds of Conduit fans for years to come.
the game was fairly easy up until this point, as if the game is saying "Hey dumbshits dont get too comfortable" the Conduit doesnt fuck around.

Good job! How long did it take you to finish the ambush at Jefferson Memorial btw? It took me half a dozen times.
