All you need is a breath sample. It doesn't matter what your weight happens to be. Weight and gender come into play only due to the fat content. It doesn't effect the BrAC. A woman and man weighing the same may have a different body fat percentage.  If they drink the same, the woman will generally have a higher BAC and BrAC. It is simply due to fat content. The SFST was designed to divide the attention of the person being tested.
