D'Angelo was my favorite character throughout Season 1 due to his sharp contrast in both intelligence and demeanor when compared to most of the street pushers (Bodie, Poot, etc.). It was kind of shocking to see him go so early in the series. Definitely rocked Season 2 and set it up for what would come later, though.
