  • The Flair, Arn, Windham, & Sid 4 Horsemen team was always my personal favorite even though they didn't exactly have good chemistry.

  • I don't know if Sid lost control of Pillman when his feet hit the cage, but I'm surprised he dropped him. It looks like Sid was performing the spot as planned as he almost threw him down.

  • didn't pillmin die of like a OD or something any info?

  • @damagedone56 Yes but several years after this incident.

  • It's WCW what do you expect??

  • Sids head is inches from the ceiling, that was bound to happen.

  • psycho sid smh

  • Sid's really not that intimidating with a poofy mullet.

  • What idiot thought that was possible to pull off?

  • i miss this steel cage type of match...i remember they use to have 3 matches in 1

  • Sid is a dummy.

  • Sid sucked man

  • such a ridiculous size cage for a match, can't wait for the wwe ppv money in the box though

  • stupid fuck, lol

  • FAIL on Sid's part

  • Guys, this wasn't all Sid's fault. He was going for a powerbomb. The top of the cage was so low that Pillman's feet hit and couldn't get rotated enough to land on his back. Watch his feet.

  • @facelessman2 The main part of the blame belongs on whoever called for the powerbomb in that match, but Sid deserves a bit of the blame. I mean with his head almost touching the top of the cage, he should have known a powerbomb was just impossible to do safely, and should have not done the move, and just taken the flack for it. He should have learned from the Warriors/JJ Dillion mess in the first War Games.

  • @facelessman2

Yes, Sid does deserve a lot of the blame. Sid should have demonstrated some common sense here that the spot wasn't going to work. Instead, of saying something to the referee to communicate to the back that he couldn't do it, he almost broke his neck. Lack of intelligence on the agent who produced the match and on Sid who didn't have enough sense to try and stop it.

  • @MystikWizard yeah that uncalled for.

  • @facelessman2 Sid should have realised that before he even attempted the power bomb, its not like he did'nt know he was inside a cage with a low roof

  • Fucking Sid man, He could of paralyzed Pillman with that shit.

  • @TheJohncenaisawesome WrestleWar 1991 main event. Ric Flair, Barry Windham, Sid Vicious & Larry Zybszko (subbing for an injured Arn Anderson, who was at ringside) Vs Sting, The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott) & Flyin' Brian Pillman from Phoenix, AZ. 2/24/1991

  • "Cross me again, and I'll attack ya with a squeege!"

  • They said back in the day Sid would do shit like this on purpose because either he didn't like the guy or they pissed him off.

  • At least he had the good sense to check on Pillman as soon as it happened.

  • wcw was worst organized business ever but it was awsome XD

  • Sid = King of Botches

  • OH GAWD JEEZUS

  • that literally is a CAGE match. Its a jail cell with guys in underwear inside

  • syd is a tard and a moron.

  • it pisses me off watching this seeing how fucking careless and reckless that lazy bastard was here.

  • i forgot why the hell did wcw have 2 rings

  • @TheRuanchyTesticle WCW only used two rings for the War Games cage match

  • No talent jabroni hack. One of the worst workers EVER. Wouldn't sell, took lousy bumps. Sid had a great look but that's all. Absolutely no talent whatsoever.

  • Sid is the most idiot wrestler i've ever seen..

  • Did Sid just forget how tall he was?

  • OW! JEEZ!!!!!!

  • I miss the great "MASTER OF THE POWERBOMB"....

    Fuck.....I miss those days

  • I remember seeing this event live. At the time I thoroughly enjoyed it because I loved the Ric, Arn, Windham and Sid 4 Horsemen team and thought Brian Pillman was an annoying dork. Now I feel bad for reveling in Pillman's pain. :( Sorry Brian.

  • It looks like Pillman didn't do a good job of coordinating the move with Sid, so he had to drop him in such a weak fashion.

  • @whoo689 Um...your kidding me. Cooperation or not. How are you going to sit on his shoulders in that lame Hell In A Cell wannabe cage?

  • @TheMysticWolfAura This match was before the Hell in a Cell was even thought of.......

  • I had this on VHS. I would've almost thought it was an accident until Sid picked him up and did it a second time! Dropped Pillman on his head twice! Smh

  • i could never understand why wcw repped 2 rings

  • Why the fuck is the cage so low?

  • @Kuchar13 Just bad planning. I mentioned before, the height was an issue when the match was first debuted. JJ Dillion was injured in the first one, when The Road Warriors went for the Doomsday Device. They couldn't do it normally because of the cage, and when Dillion took the bump, he injured his shoulder.

  • is this wcw

  • @year2kill06 yeah, that's WCW.

  • I always wonder if pillman got his revenge on sid. In my opinion I always felt Sid did it on purpose.

  • @45Yankeeclipper cage was way too low

  • @CrueFest411 I know but it's common sense if your head can touch the ceiling of the cage you know you cant lift someone over your head. Either he did on purpose or he is a dumbass. Overall R.I.P. Brian Pillman.

  • RIP Brian pillman

  • is this a april joke? o_o

  • This isn't as bad as when Goldberg botched the Spear, and dropped Christian on his head, nearly breaking his neck.

  • ouch that looked painful

  • it was pillman's fault...he didn't push sid's knees to help himself up and as a result

  • The rings look soooo cool! i like this.

  • Sid should have flared his legs and hips back as he came down to pull Pillman's torso horizontal... its a miracle Brian didn't break his neck!

  • man Vince should bring War Games to WWE or maybe Jarret should bring it to TNA image with all the new guys and trhe legends that could be in it

  • @EGPMH amen to the WWE having it. But TNA has a version of it already. It's

    called Lethal Lockdown.

  • @EGPMH WWE should definetly do this just raise the roof on the cage a bit. Maybe make this something to take the place of survivor series since they don't do that anymore anyway.

  • that cage shoulda been at least another 6 feet taller

  • 2 things.

First of all, who's fucking idea for such a little ass cage anyway. I know it was 1992-3 and everything, but still, they could do better than that.

Second of all, was Sid drunk to think that would actually work? He could stand on his tiptoes and hit the top of his head, and he's trying a damn powerbomb? Hilarious for all of the wrong reasons.

  • Sid is a certified idiot, he did it on purpose.

  • whats goin thru sids head brian coulda died earlier than he did cause of your dumb move botchin ass

  • Ow shit that had to hurt

  • @TheBagits Lol

  • @TheBagits lol...It's boring too..

  • hey is this wwe?

i have never seen continous rings

  • @umarsharieff16 no, it's WCW, and this was a war games match. this is the match that inspired hell in a cell, lethal lockdown, and the elimination chamber.

  • @TheBagits Yeah some folks are silly. Talkin about real wresting on a WWE video. WTF?...Lol

  • @FreshTiDef lol you do know this is not a WWE vdieo kid?

  • @kingstarscream95 Excuse me? This is too a WWE video! Last time I checked WWE bought the rights to WCW!...... OWNED!...LOL

  • @FreshTiDef judging by the quality it was a WCW licensed product at the time of purchade. the copyright may be owned by WWE today, but when this was filmed, performed and purchased it was a WCW video. So your wrong.

  • @ianhitman I don't care who made the video. It was bought by WWE so it's a WWE video! Even the ex-owners of WCW can't use this video anymore to make a profit! So you're wrong & fuck off!

  • The quality is so poor it almost looks like Pillman is naked lol. That cage was way to low to do anything off the top rope or any big moves so why build it like that?

  • @CRooster3 clearly bad planning. And it wasn't the first time the cage's height caused injury. The Road Warriors tried the Doomsday Device on JJ DIllion in the first War Games, and because of the height, they had to alter how Animal held him, which lead to Dillion falling wrong, which injured his arm. That was 4 years before this match, and they still kept the cage design.

  • @austin2090 retards

  • @CRooster3 Naked, ROFL!I just noticed that too XD

  • @CRooster3 lol!, yea it does almost look like pillmans naked, i remember those times with the 2 rings those matches were ace

  • @CRooster3 Maybe WCW wanted to paralyze someone lol

  • so what

    sid was certified insane

  • i have no idea why he thinks that move would be a good idea at all

  • cage failed

  • They shouldn't have made the cage as big as Sid. It should've been a regular Hell in the Cell cage size.

  • Sid is the kind of person we need less of in this business.

  • GANSO BOMB!

  • what a f***king idiot man

  • eh he died anyways so who gives a shit.

  • @mr8ballwilliams i love when idiots like you only say things to shock people

  • What a piece of crap cage.

  • man did Sid modified his powerbomb into a prawn hold vertebreaker yet not very safe since its a fluke but still thats one nasty accidental vertebreaker or neckbreaker

  • tht wuz a powerbomb n a piledriver a pilebomb lol

  • is this how brian pillman died? xD

  • it's wcw's fault for not extending the cage higher up

  • fuckin idiot

  • ugly pure ugly, sid was a danger his whole career

  • @xeroker1985 lol no doubt dude

  • i consider myself a big fan of wrestling, however, ive never seen any war games WCW events from years long gone. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME - are they worth buying to check out ??

  • Yes they are well worth buying, you should just buy Brian Pillman Loose Cannon, it features this match and other Pillman gems, plus a great documentary.

  • It's a bad spot for sure. But its not Sid's fault. Honestly the cage was way too low. And I bet they said the cage was 15 feet hight or some shit. If the cage had been ten feet high the move would have going perfect. He would have picked brain up and let him fall to the mat in the release powerbomb he always used.

  • @1981CrueHead again, once Sid stepped foot in that cage and realized his head nearly touched the cage roof, he should have just ditched the powerbomb spot, and just taken any verbal lashing from the bookers for not doing it, instead of doing it, and nearly giving Pillman a serious injury.

  • @austin2090 Its his job to do what they say...theres usually only a few moves actually scripted, and i think that was the main one for that match..

  • @austin2090 you are right

  • @austin2090 you talking about the same Sid that said that Nash was half the man he was and then said he had half the brain of Nash? or the same Sid that called for a cut on a live promo? the guy was hardly the sharpest spoon in the drawer although i am sure he would argue that ; )

  • @austin2090 i think it was d david sholts ? what year was this ???????????????

  • @1981CrueHead its sid fault.after the powerbomb he asks him if he is ok haha.

  • is this war games

  • It was not really Sid's and Pillman's fault, the cage was too damn low. So the way I see it, it is all even Sid, Pillman, and the cage.

  • sid was a poor wrestler if u look at videos from wcw days he sold moves pritty badly and did stupid things but then again there are quite a few going about like that

  • lol i remember nash powerbombed luger one time in war games and luger walked across the top of the cage upside down to complete the move lol so stupid

  • @Bigrobowski10 lol thats jokes man hahaha

  • So what is with the double side by side ring/cage?

  • That's the way the War Games was set up. They had the rings side by side, and the cage that covered both. In later years, they revamped the cage, and increased the height.

  • @austin2090 i wonder what made them decide to revamp the cage....this right here. Sid is what man, close to 7 feet maybe a little over? the cage looked maybe 8. WcW had some great ideas but they had bad ways of doin them.

  • @FTI2 Sid is 6, 8 but pronounced 6,9 in wrestling. That cage cant be more than 7 feet looking at it! Its not much bigger than Sid!

  • what kind of mathc is this in the first place?

  • WCW's War Games. Usually an 8 man tag. two men start out in the ring. after, I want to say, every 2 minutes a new wrestler comes in, and the match ends on pin or submission, and can't be won until all the wrestlers are in. A coin toss determines which team gets the one man advantage during the match

  • damn, i think he snapped his fucking neck

  • SID is a grade- A idoit

  • not sid's fault! the opponents MUST know how to sell the move

  • What are you talking about, selling has nothing to do with this. Sid shoulde have never gone for the move, even if he was told to. He was like an inch from his head touching the cage roof, and he goes for a move, that requires you to lift your opponent OVER YOUR H EAD

  • i think he was ironic...

  • @austin2090 Youre right. Selling a move is one thing, but from everything I heard Sid was very dangerous to work with. He didnt want to listen to others, didnt care for others safety. Makes me wonder how psycho he really is. He seemed about as dangerous as the Ultimate Warrior, except he did stab Arn Anderson.

  • how did pillman die?

  • A mix of a heart condition that was undiagnosed, along with drug and alcohol use.

  • wwe is bringing back war games

  • It is only good for the real Wrestling Fans when TNA is geting higher Ratings because it means Vince has to create better storylines to keep up.

  • WCW grapics is BAd

  • @macpulube1 ??? These aren't graphics. It's really old footage from WrestleWar 1991. Footage gets worn over the years

  • Like a Ganso Bomb, he even dropped to his Knees.

  • OMG!

  • dare i ask... what year is this?

  • WrestleWar

    February 24, 1991

  • What happened to Brian P. after this incident?

  • @Singaporepunjaban he died

  • He didnt die as a result of the powerbomb, he died years later.

  • That was seriously messed up. Why was the cage so low???

  • Well I believe this was the same cage as the first War Games, or at least the same demensions, and in that first match, Lex Luger at 6'4" was the tallest in the match. Sid is 6'9". Years later you could see they raised the height. And in that first one, the height was a factor too. The Road Warriors injured JJ Dillion's arm with a Doomsday Devince that they had to modify because of the low cage.

  • he did it to him 2 times in the match back to back, he shouldn't have done it. but it happen but there was no need to do it again.

  • Sid was a star, when he went to WWF from WCW WWF could do nothing but treat him seriously. There is no one on Sids level in TNA. Anyone who has left TNA to go to WWE has done nothing but go onto be a jobber. TNA has not made one star anyone cares about. If Somoa Joe got signed by WWE he'd be a jobber, what he deserves to be. TNA keeps on pushing losers no one has any interest in. I hope Hogan uses his influence to get rid of the people who don't stand a chance of ever being likable.

  • WTF, are you saying that Sid is better than Kurt Angle, Hulk Hogan, Sting and Kevin Nash?!

Sid was just some tall barbarian blessed with a mountain of steroids-enhanced muscles. The man was HORRIBLE on the mic and he can't even execute a simple powerbomb, as shown above. Hell, his right Tibia and Fibula shattered on a simple dropkick from the top ropes.

Who is second to Sid in your book? Ultimate Warrior?

  • @baraboosquirrel Hm...i remember times where he was totally over...I mean...his rematch with shawn had to be hold in shawn's hometown, because sid is the ruler of the world(joking here). His mic skills are not the best....but his madness he brought ..was great. But pls dont compare him with ultimate crap....he doesn't deserve this

  • @baraboosquirrel Sid s better than everyone you listed except for Hogan. I have Sid number 2 behind Hogan.....

  • @FreshTiDef are u serious??? what wrestling do u watch. kurt angle is one of the few wrestlers that actually can wrestle. hogan is just an ok wrestler i mean his finisher was a leg drop hogan is one of the original faces of wrestling that made wrestling so popular (hence why he is so popular). he's not better than sting and sid and nash are the only 2 comparable wrestlers and sid couldnt powerbomb half as good as nash could. i liked sid alot but come on

  • @Gh0sT187 Why care about who have the better "wrestling moves" when the wrestle with the better wrestling moves would LOSE in the match. Hogan or Sid in their primes would SMASH Kurt Angle! There is not one wrestler who could beat Hogan while he was in the PRIME of his career. His resume is also better than Angle's as well. Angle haven't come close to accomplishing what Hogan has accomplished. Hogan's # 1 and you better recognize!

  • @FreshTiDef What you forget is that KUrt Angle won a gold medal for REAL wrestling whereas in the WWE it's all scripted and Kurt could easily out wrestle Hogan any day.

  • @1lilboylost2 First of all, we're not talking about REAL wrestling, we're talkin about the WWE. If you wanna talk about REAL wrestling then go look up olympic videos! Why are you even lookin at this if you're not respecting it? Hogan in his prime would smoke Angle in a "WWE" ring.. BTW, Hogan might beat Angle in a real match too. Why? Because Hogan is twice Angle's size. Remember, they don't have weight divisions for nothing! KIDDO!

  • @baraboosquirrel Okay, baraboosquirrel, you try and execute a powerbomb on a steel cage with a low ceiling and see how you do. And I don't know where you got "simple dropkick" from because Sid wasn't trying to do a dropkick when his leg got broken. Nevermind the fact that the only reason he did it is because Vince Russo threatened him.

  • what about cm punk, and jeff hardy, and christian?

  • The latter two already came from the WWE prior to going to TNA. Punk started out in TNA before he went to WWE.

  • @ajmurtagh Erm.... Christian just returned so it will probably be months before he gets to the top again like he was back in 2002-2005 before he got drafted to Smackdown and where he lost his pop. Jeff Hardy is washed up on drugs and CM Punk is rising high and still is at inches of gold around his waist.

  • they wouldnt take anyone from tna seriously because the wwe does not focus on wrestling ability. the wwe is about entertainment. tna is about pro wrestling.

  • @aglewi41 dude, get a clue, TNA is no more about 'wrestling' than WWE is, TNA is a poor hackjob ripoff of the Worst of WCW. Leave you preference for one or the other at the door, the truth is plain, TNA is trying to be like WCW and WWE in the Monday Night Wars years, (when it was ALL about entertainment over wrestling) but its can't do it, the guys with the say over at TNA don't have the skills to make TNA a worthy place and as such the talent is being wasted and it looks like a poor mans WWE.

  • so whats wrong with them trying to be like wcw and the raw is war. it was popular a thanks to tna it continues to go on. and why are you saying that tna hasn't got any good pro wrestlers. tna has more talent in its little toe then the wwe has on its entire roster.

  • @aglewi41 Try reading my post again, it's pretty clear. At no point do I say TNA has bad talent, I make it plain that TNA are utilizing the talent they have badly.

And please, keep your TNA fanboyism shut away will you? Comments like 'TNA has more talent in it's little toe' is just plain childish. BOTH companies have plenty of HUGELY talented stars, its about how they're utilized, and right now WWE may be crap, but they have direction and a plan, TNA just doens't know what it's doing.

  • You make a valid point for what i just read lol. And yeah TNA and WWE have perfect talent. But the thing is I think the companies you said should be flipped, I think its WWE that is utilizing its talent wrong. But a very very valid point.

  • @Grumftheld Yeah I do have to agree with you on the part where you said "TNA is the Worst of WCW" cus their like bringing about 1/5 of WCW to TNA.

  • @aglewi41 WWE NOW is about entertainment back then it was more of a combo of wrestling and entertainment. TNA is more of a aero-dynamic background of wrestling styles.

  • and cm punk was in tna before wwe. so get your facts right

  • Who ever designed the cage is a dumbass... its only 7ft tall on the inside

  • so dangerous! that was so dumb on sids part. what a dickhead!

  • Fuck you all sid was awsome he had wicked fueds and drew in a lot of money, he was one of my favourites growing up in the 90's and i fuckin loved it when he won the title at survivor series 96 then whooped bret harts ass to win the title again oh and that power bomb he put on that stupid trainer of shawn micheals was awsome he was such a killer heel anyone could face him and generate sympathy cuz the guy was scary.

  • The guy was scary.

The fact such a useless waste of space can achieve anything and not just be killed during childhood is very scary when considering the American population.

  • what kind of macth was that

  • War Games match. It was Ric Flair, Sid, Larry Zbyszko and Barry Windham vs. Sting, Pillman and the Steiners at Wrestle War 1991

  • Its a Ganzo bomb!!!

  • Its the pilebomb.

  • I think this type of powerbomb is more effective.

  • LOL toktok.

    SUPER EFFECTIVE!

  • it wasn't meant for pillman to get dumped on his head. there really wasn't any room for a full powerbomb.

  • 2 RINGS IN A CELL?? XDD

  • Sid should just stick to his sweet clotheslines.

  • oh he kill or not kill

  • Sid has half the brain Brian does.

  • @godanselmo dead or alive? Or both

  • word. and if that's phil ur referncing w ur name...amen.

  • Christ.....you would think Sid would have been smart enough to not drop him on his damn neck.

Least he looked to have apologized after

  • Sid wasn't the smartest guy ever...and sadly Pillman was dead not long after, though that was due to painkiller addiction from ankle problems.

  • Well Sid did get what was coming to him
