I'm pretty sure they can be. I didn't want the kids laughter, and I told the cameraman to keep them silent, but after several retakes, it ended up with this.

That's WAY out of tune. When getting musical horns, always get FIAMM ones. They are way more in-tune and play at the proper speed.
