  • To all the haters: The reason you all hate up on my homie, Randy Moss is because you have to cheer for teams like the raiders, While we can cheer for moss so haters: GO FUCK YOUR MOMS DICK

  • i remember MOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS TOUCHDOWN RADY MOSS

  • Fuck Randall Moss!

  • Quitter. This clown is an insult to every player who played hard on a bad team.

  • STRAIGHT CASH HOMEY!

  • Kudo's to Moss! Happy Retirement my G

  • probably the most talented WR ever. Too bad his anger issues, and sometimes selfishness got in way.

  • He'll be remembered as a loser and a player who careed only about himself...and he was also a team seriel killer of any team he played on!!!!

  • He talks with an accent

  • Das Right, SMOKE THAT WEED. YOU R THE BEST MOSS. REMEMBER THAT.

  • i wish he could go back to the Patriots i miss seem him playing for the Patriots ,

  • much respect 4 moss doe

  • wow look at all the randy moss haters, TOP 3 WR's of all time

  • "Please get me to a team thats stacked so I can put the least amount of effort into helping the team win"- Randy Moss

  • i think he just threw up on the mic a lil, what a bunch of BS

  • I feel bad for Moss and Owens for not winning a super bowl...I hope they win one soon.

  • @orangesodaman7 I agree man.

  • Owens and Moss are both Hall of Famers, but to debate you guys below, Rice is the best of all time, it's like comparing Allen Iverson to Michael Jordan, Rice was that good

  • @Joe80Gissuppe1 lol if moss plays as long as rice did he shatters all his records. hands down moss is the best.

  • @TheStanisback the only record Moss has broken of Rices, was his touchdown mark in a season, Moss had 23 receiving touchdowns in 16 games, Rice had 22 in 12 games, imagine if he played 16 games, he would of probably had around 30! hah

  • @Joe80Gissuppe1 Well that is true but the thing about Jerry Rices' season was that a lot of the good defensive players were injured that seasons leaving not so good defenders covering him. Im not hating on Rice he is a legend but I think Moss worked a little harder.

  • @Joe80Gissuppe1

    Rice had 22 in 12 games in a lock out year when some of the main starters didn't even play (defencively and offensively). There were many times when Rice played the 2nd team on defense. Moss grinded out 16 games with almost have in the rough and rugged New England weather (against starters), whereas Jerry played in sweet ass San Francisco.

  • everybody shut up T.O sucks Randy is the best yes wes welker is the top reciever for new england he makes plays but without Randy mosses help yeah new england would be nothing who puts more stats yrds and Tds on his career the on and only Randy moss #1 reciever

  • overrated? have u even seen him play before? Hes a beast

  • @GhostDistortion please shoot yourself after typing that. On what basis are you making those claims? Moss is arguably the greatest receiver of all-time behind Jerry Rice. Owens does not have better stats than Moss. And it's not like Owens has had piss-poor QB's either.

    In the future, I recommend doing some research before opening your mouth again.

  • You're absolutely right, I'll go shoot myself right now, because you said so. First off Moss is done. He's not even the best receiver on NE anymore. Welker puts up way better numbers and in the mean time T.O. is still going strong in Buffalo with a shitty QB, he had a shitty QB in Dallas, and a shitty QB in San Fran. If you think Jeff Garcia, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Tony Romo are good QB's then I suggest you do some research before you open your mouth. Go swallow a load cuckold motherfucker.

  • @GhostDistortion, Me do research? That's hilarious. Those stats you dug up are not very convincing, considering T.O. came in the league 2 years earlier. Read my post carefully, did I say Moss was having a good year? I'm talking the career as a whole. Also that's very kind of you to leave out Steve Young and Donovan McNabb, because of course they had no impact on T.O.'s career. Oh yeah, wherever you got your "stats" from, check the records section, then get back to me.

  • 504, you won this one.

    Just another T.O. fanboy....

  • Oh and just for the record queef, T.O. has 1006 receptions, Moss has 926. T.O. has 14,951 and Moss has 14,465 so yeah, looks like you should be the one to do the research. Don't ever talk about football again until your get YOUR facts straight because you work on assumption and assume that I don't know anything about football, but I do. Have you ever even played a down on any other level that Pee Wee or flag football in your backyard with your gay mom?

  • Cherry pick the stats enough? Moss would need to average less then 50 receptions and 300 yards in the next two seasons to have less yards / receptions then Owens in the same amount of seasons. This is ignoring the fact that he has higher YPC and already has more TDs. Plus, he has played with twice as many QBs as Owens has! And don't tell me guys like Collins, Frerotte, and Walters were as good as Romo, Fitzpatrick, or Garcia.

  • Kerry Collins, strangely enough, actually put up good numbers with Oakland and new York. Carolina and New Orleans were different stories. But in response to your statement...."Get your popcorn ready!" "He's got 30 million reasons to live and T.O. is NEVER gonna retire. He'll be playin' till he dies on the field.

  • Yeah, I don't actually mind Collins. I just said the first QBs that came to my head that he has played with. I don't think Owens is done, and he will do fine in Cinci this season, I just don't think he is as good as Moss.

  • I mind Collins. I'm a Panthers fan so he kind of gets on my nerves a bit. As far as at one time...Moss was better as in the Minnesota days and T.O.'s SF days I would give the edge to Moss, but when it's all said and done, the long term goes to T.O., plus Terrell plays hurt and got major props for the Super Bowl thing, where as Randy lost points with me on the I don't play on Wednesdays but I'll be there on Sunday bullcrap.

  • I doubt the long term will ever go to Owens. Even if he ends with better career stats, which I doubt happens. Moss is 33 and Owens is 36. Moss has said he will play until the wheels fall off, and Owens is already struggling to find teams. When Moss hits free agency next year, I bet he has many possible suiters.

  • T.O. is gonna sign with the Bengals after today.

  • I know. He is going to be "Batman" and Ocho will be Robbin. lol (according to Ocho Cincos twitter)

  • Ocho is a mess.

  • @GhostDistortion hes signing with them?

  • Well he met with them, but they didn't sign him after so I guess not.

  • Yea great points genius, considering the fact that T.O.'s been in the league for two more years than Moss. TO came in the league in '96. Moss came in the league in '98. Moss STILL has 4 more TD's than TO, even after playing two shitty years in Oakland. Suck on that one for a while.

  • @rjblitz02

    You can suck on Moss' dick genius. It sounds like you got a crush on him anyway.

  • @GhostDistortion haha you're just mad im right. just stating the facts

  • @rjblitz02 No not at all. What's funny to me is that that you clowns keep replying to a comment I made over a month ago. Let it go dude.

  • @GhostDistortion Consider it done. pc

  • straight cash homey

  • grow the beard

  • I know how I will remember you....... As an overpaid cocky bitch.

  • Vikings got rid of him. My question? Is he as good as he used to be?

  • shave that gizzly adams beard off lol.

  • fuck u

  • I really hope he gets that ring he deserves

  • Yeah I agree Moss needs a ring. There are some NFL players who have been great for a long time that hopefully can go out with a ring- some off the top of my head would be Derrick Mason, Fred Taylor, Donavan McNabb, T.O., and others.

  • The giants got lucky? THE pats got lucky they even got randy in the first place. I don't like moss but he actually is just incredibly dominant

  • You have no idea what lucky means, do you?

  • as a colts fan i hate the patriots cant stand them but if the colts dont win the superbowl i want it to be the patriots just because moss should have a ring

  • straight cash homey

  • giants got lucky ui that SB, randy should be wearing that ring

  • lol YEAH

  • Moss is tight as hell. He gets shat on by the media because of stupid shit. Back when he was a viking, someone I knew met him when his car got impounded. He said that Moss was the most down to earth dude. They shot a couple hoops and said Moss played ball better than their star players on his college team by miles. There was also weed in the car lol. Go Moss. Best WR ever

  • Could've gone to the NBA if he wanted to. I think he was the #1 recruit in both football and basketball coming out of high school.

  • played on the same high school team as jason williams, they might have been alright haha

  • @moonlightpockets ya he seems like and awesome guy and is the best wr ever

  • Haha he really fucked up with his Green Bay mooning.

  • matured so much since viking days

  • deffinitly

  • Real talk man, Randy Moss is a solid guy, but that's Patriot football. Classy Players

  • @RTR9 hahha until recently

  • @RTR9 no he hasn't lol. Just was in a winning team and now look what happens. Says he wants out of New England then he wants back. Dissappointing to see him go back to those ways

  • @tdot4life15 Lol damn i thought he did to then all this happends in a week im kinda dissapointed i guess when he isent getting what he wants he lets ya know. Its unfortante to.

  • @RTR9 are you kidding me?

  • @zachmasterzach Yeah im kidding you

  • Randy Moss has averaged one touchdown for every 6.24 of his receptions over his 11-year career, the best TD rate in NFL history for receivers with at least 500 catches.

    Moss' single-season record 23 TDs in 2007 obviously helped, but he scored at least 15 three previous times and found the end zone on 11 occasions in a "down" 2008 season. The 2009 Rotoworld Draft Guide projects Moss to score 14 touchdowns on 90 receptions (6.43 touchdown rate) this year.

    Source: Boston Globe

  • your a fuckin fag

  • Matt Birk repeatedly said that Moss was the hardest working person on his squad. If you think all he duz is go deep, you've never actually watched a game of his.

  • Steve Smith better den Moss, all heart and skill, all moss can do is run deep and make the catch, he wont take no big hits to get the ball, one of the reasons he not on my top, chad and T.O cry to much.

  • who gives a fuck if randy goes deep all the time it works so why stop its an easy td moron

  • that doesnt have to do with anything big deal he gets his ass beat he dont think hes better then anybody else hes just cocky every great player in the nfl is MOSS IS GOD lol. no body is more exiciting to watch at the wr spot then randy moss

  • uh.... actually he donates a bunch of stuff to orginizations and children of lower class communitys in the state. fuck he even gives cars to local dealerships so they can profit more, not to mention he even opened a health food shop in charleston. soooooo..... who beat him up? i always see randy rocking a WV shirt on tv.

  • Larry Fitzgerald = Jerry Rice.

  • Carl PIckens? hell yeah dude!

  • The wide receiver position in the NFL is sooo deep. It's hard to argue who the best is now, nevermind the best EVER. I WILL say, the best I've seen are these 3 (and you can all look up stats - including DROPS, before arguing with me).

    Jerry Rice.

    Sterling Sharpe.

    Randy Moss.

    (in whatever order).

    And I do believe the best in the NFL right now is Calvin Johnson (he needs a new team).

    And does anyone remember Carl Pickens?

  • now sure if I agree with Johnson being the best receiver in the NFL, I'd be more lenient to someone like Larry Fitzgerald.

  • Johnson is the best receiver in the game despit not having a elite QB he is ripping the defence apart Larry Fitzgerald has Kurt Warner he is acurate with his passing game so it makes it much easier for him,he hasnt done much during the regular season,the only reason people think he is the best is cause of his great post-season play.

  • Wtf u talkin bout Warner was on the greatest show on turf! and look how shitty the rams became when warner left.

  • I was talking about Larry Fitzgerald,he wasnt much without Warner thats what I said,

  • So true. All those other QB's are jokes compared to Kurt Stats.

  • no cris carter?

  • best WR in the game

  • Uhh, all receivers take plays off. Does anyone realize that Randy Moss is asked to run deep routes more then anyone because hes' the best at it??? Moss tried in Oakland, he put up good stats the first year. The second year when he had a HAMSTRING Injury he didn't record a lot of stats and that team sucked!! NO OFFENSIVE LINE, for the best Deep threat in the league? That's not a great combo. People should remember him teaching Scrabble to become the best corner in the league or him...

  • bringing HUNDREDS OF BUSSES Full of kids to football games or him having multiple charities or when in highschool how he always talked to a 'mentally handicapped' kid or how he owns some INTA Juices and promotes people to be healthy or how he trys things and speaks his mind. Or actually, why don't we just remember Randy Moss as one of the greatest football players of ALL time, surely the best deep threat and most athletic...

  • He takes plays off and he will be remembered for not playing hard at lot of the time

  • He is so full of shit, does no one remember when he was in Minnesota the way he acted?

  • He was young, the patriots seem to have matured him...

  • Yeah, I guess that is true.

  • Same thing in Oakland. You will be remembered, alright. Don't worry. You will NEVER win a SB.

  • dude stfu

  • Randy has a Truck team in NASCAR witch is cool.

  • He's as Southern as they come...LOL

  • dude joe montana is the greatest qb because of his comeback drives and 4 superbowls, not 4 airing it out. so dont talk that way about jerry rice who happens 2 be the greatest player ever.

  • and moss had culpepper who was sick and now brady but ha now brady is hurt moss' year is gunna be pathetic

  • going pretty "pathetic" so far huh

  • Jets on top of the league? wierd

  • what da fuk are you serious, do u even watch the patriots or football

  • Moss is the best athlete at Wr ever.Rice had joe motana and steve smith

  • steve smith? do you mean steve young?

  • terriost? wtf...?

  • ok you guys are insane a record is a record i mean god..emmit smith played 2 more years then walter payton and beat his record for most rushing yards you guys dont hold that against him? another thing u can say moss is a choker but remember the yea rrice got 23 tds? yea he lost in the 1st round of the play offs to the VIKINGS yea the vikings kicked the 49ers sorry asses and the 49ers were 15-1 too LMAO!!!

  • Rice was playing during a STRIKE!!! meaning he was playing against shitty players way below his skill level....

  • it took moss 4 more weeks to beat rice's td single season record cause of the strike

  • JERRY HAS THA RECORDS AND RINGS

  • Jerry rice is the greatest allaround wr of all time.Key word allaround.

  • Moss= the most 17+ TD seasons.

    May have had more time than Rice to break the Single season TD record, however, If rice had 22 TDs in so few games, why couldnt he keep that pace for 16 games and shatter his record in any other full season?

    Rice played in a more physical era, Moss plays in a smarter era.

    Think about it, Rice may have been the best of that era but Moss is it Now.

    Jerry Rice is great, really great; But no one can beat moss.

  • I love both WR's but the difference that some separate randy from jerry is that jerry had class, and Randy has just started maturing, like not gripping for the ball all the time. Also I'm not sure if randy will physically be able to play as long as jerry, and also I think that if jerry was in year 11 like randy, or maybe even 35 years old, and playing with the pats right now I think he'd have more TD's than moss did this year

  • I dont think so...

    Well i agree with what you are saying, i do agree that Randy might not last as long as rice but that's jsut speculation.

    you know, back in the day, Jerry used to complain alot if he didnt get the ball but people tend to forget about that.

    About Rice getting more Tds...i dont think so. If he did it would be because he would be complaining that he wanted the ball. Moss said that he didnt want to be the main focus of the team after the first game of 2007.

  • dont always believe that if moss says that he doesn't want to be the main focus, he won't be, it could just be another media thing that goes with NE how belichieck is in the interviews, he could of told randy to say this just so that the media doesn't ask him those questions all the time...and I wasn't around to see Rice when he was with the 9ers in his early years so I'll take ur word on that he complained

  • but you know, i think Rice got all he could out of montana and young. Those were great QBs on a team where it was only Rice and a real young T.O.

    Moss had stallworth, welker, daffney and a couple other guys pulling down TDs.

    I just think that Moss would do better in this era than anyone ever could. Rice was used in a way where he could exploit himself and be great in an era where the game was mostly physical, not technical.

  • randy has had a bad image most of his career, he most recently got in that incident with the florida women, I don't know what happend to that, but it still got his image some what hurt, I still believe that Rice will always be better than Moss just because of his class and how well he played from year 1 to year 22(which is amazing considering he retired a few years ago in the "technical" era, and still was one of the best in the league)

  • I highly doubt Rice would have more TDs than Moss on the Pats team. That's absurd and ridiculous. The only reason Moss took 16 games for his 23 TDs is because Brady likes to spread out his TDs and get everyone involved. If they wanted, Moss would rape Rice's record annually, possibly semi-annually LOL.

  • well if moss would "rape rices record annually, possibly semi-annually" then why didn't he do that? There arent a lot of people that say that randy moss is the greatest WR of all time, I always hear people say rice is, pretty much the only people who think moss is the greatest of all time is pat fans and fans of moss, were as almost anyone would say without hesitation jerry is better

  • You hear many people say Rice is better because most of those people never even saw him play (you). Moss is better. Why does he not rape his records? Because he has a team of other good receivers who would like action. So your argument is redundant. Moss is better in every aspect, it showed his rookie year and it shows now. Rice can't do what Moss can and that includes catching the ball.

  • No I've seen him play and i've seen his many TD catches, here's one stat Rice has to randy 5 super bowls won to moss's none! u seem to be the only person in this comment page who is arguing over this, u should go to a Jerry Rice best of video and see how well this arguement will hold up, cause u seem to be the only person who believes moss is better. they, over at the rice video, will give u better stats than me about rice and it'll shut u up

  • also u mention that the reason that he doesn't rape rices records annually is because he has other WR's who want the ball, which is true, but, is the same for rice, he had other wr's who wanted the ball too...

  • Who besides a young and inexperienced Terrel Owens at the time? Stats are nothing because Rice has always had the advantage...HOF QBs his whole career, less receievers to share catches with, and an easier era of the NFL.

  • matt hasselbeck when jerry was in seattle and rich gannon are not HOF's...Receiver's he played with, like owens who not so inexperienced, were ed mccaffery, tim brown, john taylor, dwight clark... keep in mind, did u ever think that the reason those HOF Qb's rice played with were hof because HE helped them become hof's...???

  • Those two QBs you just mentioned...sure they're not HOF's but they're/were elite/top QBs in the league. So thank you for proving nothing. Tim Brown is the only other receiver that may have had to share catches with, dwight clark, barely. Rice did not help anyone become a HOF.

  • steve young became good cause he had rice and hasselbeck may not have been a good choice but gannon was not good until he had rice...u do know that ur the only person in this discussion board who is saying that randy is better...Say that in a jerry rice discussion board and see how ur opinion won't test with them over there

  • btw are u a pats fan or an all time moss fan?

  • i guesss that makes to people who say randy is better

  • what ever that means

  • Randy is easily better, I agree. He didn't have two hall of fame QBs throwing him the ball for nearly his whole career - oh and Rich Gannon(A great QB in his own right)

  • Ugh, i've done that for fun and made my argument! Most disagree there and it's obvious why. Rice has put up 200 touchdowns and it's difficult to dispute against that.

  • are you arguing me or argeeing with me

  • I couldn't tell you - lol.

  • Oh and the rings...since when do rings show a player's greatness? Strahan BARELY got his. Many others never got theirs. Rings are results of team efforts not individual success.

  • yea nflnick moss is better then rice its just to bad that DICKHEADS like you just look at stats and compare from there moss has better skill and better talent so therefor he is better then rice

  • rice is more liked and more classy than moss...besides why am I gonna argue with a terrorist patriot fan, I can't think of anything more hated than that...LMAO

  • Dude, Im one of the biggest Moss fans around, but even I know that Rice is the greatest. Rice was never the BEST at any one thing, except maybe hands, but he was near the top of the list in ALL things. No receiver has ever been as well rounded as Jerry Rice, and he was nearly flawless in technique. Moss is definitley one of the 5 best in my opinion, but Number 1? That belongs to Rice.

  • in all things huh

    Hands =MOss

    Vertical=moss

    Speed=moss

    height=moss

    strength=moss

    rice only got what attitude and work ethic...i would throw to moss over rice anyday

  • Yup. 100% true.

  • moss=physical perfection

    rice=play perfection

  • Rice = play perfection only when pigs seem to have flew.

    Moss = perfection in every aspect.

    Hands =MOss

    Vertical=moss

    Speed=moss

    height=moss

    strength=moss

    = The truth.

  • Rice is not the greatest!Moss proved that his rookie season and this yr. Physically rice cant do what Moss does on the field and never saw the coverage schemes that moss sees on every play. If Jerry Rice and Randy Moss were on the same team in their prime Moss would be the #1 receiver beacause he can stretch the field and split the defense better than anyone. Please, i dare someone to prove me wrong.

  • You're full of crap. Rice broke record after record while spending nearly his entire career fighting off double coverage.

    Moss is the greatest one dimensional receiver ever. He's extra finesse and has always been scared to attack the middle of the field on slants or get in the slot. His whole game is running forward to see if you can outrun him.

    Dont get me wrong, he's one of the best ever, but he has some major holes in his game.

  • I think You do have a point, but are you saying that moss doesnt have to fight off double and triple coverage too?

    Receivers are not really supposed to be hit hard. Yeah it's part of football, but you dont want a fast fucker like moss to risk taking shots as if he were a running back- or T.O.

    Receivers= Fast, Thinnest guys on the team. I wouldn't expect anyone who gets hit constantly to last long in the league.

    Moss is using his head and being smart. Another thing he has over Rice.

  • Do you truly believe Moss can actually decide what routes he can run? When the coaches want Moss to cut up the middle they will make him cut up the middle. The coaches utilize Moss' speed and has him run straight out beating the CB.

    Rice is more of a playmaker, Moss is phsyically more superior than Rice.

  • obviously if a coach tells you do do somthing, you shuold do it, but we ARE talking about moss here. I never said he couldnt cut up the middle; im just saying that he shouldnt do it unless he has to. It shouldnt be a prefered route.

    Randy is more physically dominant. Thats another reason he is better.

    Look at Linemen and running backs. Physicallity is something you need! Now Moss has tons of intelligence AND the physical game too.

  • Randy is good But not the greatest I personally like Jerry Rice better

  • Jerry Rice is the greatest receiver ever and nobody is even close.

  • lol

  • Am really happy for him to be in the SB!!!

  • Randy Moss is the greatest WR in NFL History and im so happy he's made it to the SB finally! He is a Living LeGeND!!!

  • Randy is a great WR, but greatest. That belongs to Jerry Rice.
