  • just watch it closely, it looks like its fastforward, but it isnt! thats why these horses are amazing! XD

  • Mexicans are badass when it comes to there horses...

  • @Xoloitzcuintli3 These are not Mexican horses! They are Puerto Rican and Columbian!

  • @Emura100 No such thing as a puerto rican, colombian or mexican horse they all como from Spain and europe, what i meant was that mexicans are the best at training horses...

  • @Xoloitzcuintli3 Still the rider is not mexican

  • Comment removed

  • @Xoloitzcuintli3 This is a Columbian, and Puerto Rican breed much to your chagrin. Yes the base for these horses are the Andalusian, Spanish Jennet and the Spanish Barb, but no where else except South America and the Caribbean has this breed, and movement been achieved. So yes this is a Columbian and Puerto Rican breed. No where else in the world.

Now on to the "Mexican" BS. The best trainers of PF horses are generally of Latin American decent, yes but very few are Mexican. Less than 5%.

  • @fastaslightning1 Yes you are right these horses only exist in South america not even Spain has them even tho there spanish and yes you are correct Colombian and Puerto Ricans were who started the cowboy culture which was later adopted by the americans how right you are..

  • @Xoloitzcuintli3 thats true, no too many know that

  • @Xoloitzcuintli3 Well spain has a few, I know of a farm that has some of them. Also they are starting to grow in popularity in Europe. But yes they are mainly found (and originate) in Puerto Rico and Colombia, and are really starting to hit their stride in the USA.

  • :D

  • You can barely see it's front legs I love how they just have so much energy

  • it's a humming bird horse!!!!!!!!!

  • Chulada de cabayo!

  • OMG I can't stop watching this video! It's so awesome. I love Paso Finos and Peruvian Pasos, they are the hands down COOLEST horses around.

  • OMG I love it!! They are going nowhere really fast. I always wanted a peruvian paso, I love their exagerated steps and these gaits are priceless. :)

  • beautiful animal and an exceptional performance, would love to see him live

  • How can idiots start saying abuse..?? Read up on purebred Paso Finos!!!

  • The Castellano I know was a chestnut....at least on the bloodlines of our mare.

  • @AnnetteHaines It would not surprise me if there is more than one. There are tons of Joyero's out there but I know Joyero la Rosa so seeing Joyero III threw me for a loop

  • @AnnetteHaines This one is Castellano de San David, son of Capitan de la Vitrina FC (Capuchino del 8 x Metralleta)

The one that you know is Castellano de Resorte IV (Resrote IV FC x La Castellana)

  • love it look him move awesome!!!!!! great job

  • love it look him move awesome!!!!!! great job

  • i love how people scream "ABUSE" haven't they heard of a gaited horse?

  • Paso Finos are so cute and cool! That would be fun to have one. :)

  • sounds like music

  • mais c'est HORRIBLE pauvre cheval ...........

  • @mani30025 Why? -_-

  • In youtube search Aventurero de Cortijo, Don Pepe they are Trote y Galope.

Prodigio de Maria Rosa, Anaconda they are TROCHA PURA

Bucefalo de Vuelta Grande, he is Trocha y galope

Tormento de la Virgionia tres veces campeon mundial y su hijo Tormeto de la Guajira are PASO FINO COLOMBIANO

  • in colombia exist 4 tipes of horses. i want all of you looking it. search i google. Paso Fino Colombiano, Trocha Pura, Trocha y Galope and my favorite TROTE Y GALOPE COLOMBIANO. they horses are called Caballos Criollos Colombianos. all his breat are NATURAL.... if u love horses, im sure that u wanto to ride whatever of this beatyfull animals

  • formidables caballos paso fino colombianos lee gustara

  • i rode race horses for 30yrs.now train them. i saw a cute little paso on paradise paso fino and i bought him. then, i liked him so well i bought another from her. i am looking for a palimino performance paso. this is blue ridge thorough breds.com i raise and sale thoroughbreds. good ones. but for my ranch(sheep) horses i use paso fino and am really in love with these little horses. and yes softly collect them and allow them to do thier w/bozel under

  • @rainraven100 what's the difference between paso fino and Peruvian paso llano?

  • @epicureo25 The difference is they are two totally different breeds. The Peruvian tends to be a bit bigger and does a different gait than the Paso Fino. Actually the Peruvian's gait is an undesired characteristic in the Paso Fino and horses preforming it are usually not bred (it gives marks against you in shows).

  • @Emura100 have you ever riden a peruvian horse?

  • @epicureo25 No I haven't as there are not many (if any) breeders in my area.

  • Whoa, now that's a paso. Very nice. Beautiful animal and stunning steps.

  • this is new to me, never seen it before done under saddle, but i recognize the natural behaviour in it. ;-) but my (now 27 years and retired ld mare) never got this exited crossing a wooden bridge ;-)

No tienen igual

  • @Thelunatica12 ya montaste un Peruano?

  • yes they are..TWH etc are all man-made breed from the STB ..who cares if they can stay up..the racks fun to watch but I have the best of both worlds...the rack (if ever hardly needed) and the natural gaited Peruvian

  • @sielick You forget the icelandic horse with their tolt.

  • Nope. A tad more masculine.

  • paso's and Peruvians are the ONLY NATURAL gaited breed.. TWH and the like are man made..the gaits of a TWH can NOT compare with either

  • @sielick, no, they are not the only naturally gaited horses.

These horses are lovely but could never stay on the trail with a fast racking or single footing horse. I have ridden and owned all of them. U R wrong. My personal favorite is the Peruvian, but facts is facts.

  • great

  • i like his color, a penny coppered bay. is he at stud or gelding?

  • you people make me laugh.

all horses breathe heavily when they are being ridden stupid.

Iv'e heard horses in jumper classes that are breathing so hard you can hear them from across the arena.

and how is the horse jumping on the spot?

if a horse is upset in anyway, you would see it/they would show it.

that horse is so freaking calm.

  • I ride paso finos, and this is natural! For some of you guys who DON'T think it is, well, learn about paso finos before saying it LOOKS like they don't like it.

  • Absolutely beautiful, classy.

  • Omg that walk is funny ^_^ I've never seen a Paso in action.

  • This is so cool though :) the horses head barley movesssss so cool

  • um...cant we all just accept each others riding styles and be cool with it? I know nothing about a paso fino but this is a beautiful horse...we dont have to understand each others disciplines in order to accept it. I am a western rider, I ride quarter horses who do indeed chase cows on their own. My boy LOVES it lol just explain what your horse does, there is no need to argue? Love horses :)

  • @amyluvsal bahahaah you made me laugh, are you really that blind, the man is asking for the horse to do that, in that exact position, obviously the horse is heaving a little because, its hard work! but my horses heave more when they come back from xc, so get over it,

  • @RubyandComet4eva you wanna see an abusive riding temper tantrum, go look at a tennessee walker at the higher levels of showing. poor things are crippled and agonized.

  • Very nice Horse!

  • Okay, what does that feel like to ride a Paso? What is this gait called? How many gaits do they have, and what is their canter like? I have ridden Tennessee Walkers and Foxtrotters, but never a Paso. I wish a breeder would post a video of a Paso baby doing this gait in the field. Do you know of a clip featuring a foal?

  • @maiasaura08 There is 3 paso gaits. The Fino, Largo, and Corto. They are extremely smooth. Their canter is just like any other canter, if not smoother. Next time I go to the barn and have time I'll try to remember to bring my camera to see if I can catch our colts doing it.

  • Very good

  • Paso Finos are driven with the rider's body - hands are not to be the balance for a rider on a Paso Fino. You do not get into a Paso's mouth as you would, say, a Quarter Horse.

As to the question about if they do this naturally, in a field, they do. Foals gait next to their mothers in mere hours after birth. The only thing that we, as trainers of this fantastic breed can do, is show the horse how to control their power and perform to the best of their ability.

  • Wow....lash, I would love to know your boss's name if they train Paso Finos...and Peruvian Pasos and Paso Finos are very different.

Paso Finos DRIVE with their hind end - they propel themselves forward with the power from their back end...they do not pull themselves forward with their front as you are implying.

And honestly - if you are balancing on your reins, which is what you are describing by saying that when you pull on the reins, they go faster...then you need to work on your core.

  • pauvre cheval...

  • Oh yes, so natural that horses do this in the wild to impress each other. LOL I lean toward comments that Brave animal makes because it's what I strive for as well. Shortened strides look odd, like the horse is working it's ass off to get what should be a few floaty strides.

I rode a paso fino last week because his owner said I should experience it at least once in my life. It did this gait, owner called him collected I thought she was crazy - still do.

  • Just because YOU think something is crazy, doesn't mean it is.

I have 2 horses that literally do this on a lunge line. One will do this in the field. Is this level of collection 100% natural, no, but then again, I have never seen a QH doing it's collected soft trot in the field either. It takes work to get the horse that soft and supple.

The short strides are bred into the horse. I don't know who your friend is, but very few horses can do this. I doubt you rode this collected.

  • again, do they do this in the wild? This breed or any horse at all ever do this with a human making them do it?

  • I would like to ask you how many horses chase cows in the wild? How many jump over 8' jumps like in the OLYMPICS?

The vaunted QH does not do everything that it is asked while under saddle with out TRAINING. That is all this is.

YES MY HORSE DOES THIS IN THE FIELD. Almost as quick, and almost as collected. She does the EXACT gait on her own. All I do is help her do it better. These horses are FLAT SHOD and this energetic from the womb.

    Become educated THEN comment.

  • @fastaslightning1 natural or not ...it looks horrible!!

  • @epicureo25 Oh look, more stupidity!

Do you have to try at posting the same comment in 2 or 3 videos?

  • There are no longer wild horses. All 'wild horses' are FERAL DOMESTICATED horses. And yes, you would see a feral Paso Fino doing this in the wild if one so happened to be out there. They do it naturally.

  • YES they do it by themselves!! We dont train them to do it. Its natural Ive seen babies that come out of there mothers gaiting in Hours

  • Un cheval qui fait des claquettes.c'est surréaliste... XD

  • Esse paso no es natural.

El caballo se puede romper las piernas.

  • Comment removed

  • ... theyre trained that way. and no, im not another idiot. i DO know what im talking about. theyre trained that when you tighten the reins, they go faster, with shorter strides. you know, you really should know what youre talking about before you start screaming bull.

  • No they are not trained to go faster when you tighten the reigns. I TRAIN THEM, KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.

This horse is designed and trained to be ridden on a soft reign. Again, you know nothing. This is a 50' board that they are trying to get a particular sound out of so they are pushing the horse for the best sound.

The best trainers and riders ride with their fingers and reigns lose. If you trained a horse to speed up when you pull the reigns how do you stop them? You don't

  • ahaha, i do. allright, maybe in YOUR world, they ride with loose reins, but the way I WAS TAUGHT was that you tighten the reins, they go fast, the looser your reins are, the slower they go. its how i was taught to do it.

  • Well, you were taught wrong. Look up Imponente de la Libertad that trainer is Jimmy Espino. He is among the elite in this breed. WATCH HIS HANDS. They are light, they reigns are LOOSE, and the horse is extremely collected. GET THE TRUTH BEFORE SPOUTING NONSENSE.

    67H2ud4TxDo

    Look at that video.

You cannot stop an animal that goes faster when you tighten the reigns so I ask again, HOW DID YOU STOP THE ANIMAL? You and your friend are doing it WRONG. I

  • Yes your very right about Jimmy Espino. All tho Imponente does not always gait, if you rele pay attention. I show Pasos and go to Nationals and all the big shows. Its nice to see another educated person on Paso finos in these comments.

  • I know, I was more pointing to a great trainer that I KNEW would put the proper visual up.

  • @MsComanche1 Just curious do you know the Uelsmann family?

  • @Emura100 I do, I worked there for about 4 years. In fact I suspect I "might" know you. LOL. That may leave you guessing.

  • @fastaslightning1 It does! Theresa? sorry just guessing

  • wow have you idiots never seen a paso fino before? i hate how you seem to think it necessary to start screaming "abuse" when you have no Fucking clue what you are talking about.

  • @crawfordcowgirl ya callate!! can someone tell me what's the practical use of this gay paso?? the Peruvian horse does a natural paso with better practical use!!

  • @epicureo25 LOL!!!! Gay paso? Your complete lack of knowledge is amazing. You judge a whole breed of horse by one show horse? A horse specifically bred to do this? Did your parents have any children that lived?

I will guarantee that anything you can do with a Peruvian I can with a Paso and on top of that I can do it with my show stallion.

    Enjoy your ignorance.

  • @fastaslightning1 I prefer to live ignorant, then to live riding a gay horse!! lol! Why would anyone bred an epileptic horse!!!??? this is just plain stupid! your are wrong! your show stallion is gay! just like you! I'd never ever imagin myself riding such a gay horse! sorry EPILEPTIC GAY HORSE!! LMAO! ps: did your parents got any straight children?? lol! enjoy your GAYNESS!!

  • @epicureo25 Awww, butthurt? It is amazing that you suggest something is gay because you don't understand it. You are so afraid of being gay, something tells me you are a closet homo. Do you look at gay porn? I bet you do! It's OK. Just be yourself, others will accept you.

Idiot. My show stallion is ready for any challenge you have. Bring it. Want to race them? Want to try and endurance ride? I will guarantee you have nothing for my horse, and it is worth 5x your POS.

  • @crawfordcowgirl lol at the crazies on youtube lol!!

  • @crawfordcowgirl you go girl!

  • Lol ABUSE! This horse is fine, in fact it's a beautiful Paso Fino and a great example of their gaiting ability.

  • q vuen caballo

  • q Buen caballo

aprenda a escribir no sea caballo

  • Comment removed

  • Fucking asshole posting pointless crap when he knows nothing. Riding a horse on a sounding board is not going to harm it. 50 feet of wood set on the ground that is flat is not hurting anything.

  • es un buen caballo

  • I love gaited horses, but this is not a beautiful example of a well ridden gaited horse. This poor horse is forced into an unnatural bodyposture that is not optimal for carrying a person.

    Not my cup of horsemanship...

  • What are you talking about? What about this body posture is unnatural? The head? The head is set high NATURALLY.

I suspect you love your horse pushing a peanut with it's nose. I would love to know what you consider optimal.

The horse is moving naturally. If never trained he would still take very small steps. Don't get me wrong he is very collected but there is nothing unnatural about this.

  • No, I do NOT prefer peanut pushing! In my opinion a horse should arch his back and pivet his pelvis in collection, thus creating a bridge where the rider sits. This horse looks like it being pullend on by the reins and cannot get his hindquarters under it`s mass. That has nothing to do with the natural high setting of his head. If I meant that I would have said that. Forgive me for giving my honest opinion in a friendly way. I will not do it again since you responded by such an unfriendly reply.

  • There was no "friendliness" in your reply. Suggesting that this is not "natural". Show me the friendliness in these comments? You were harsh toned from the beginning and so I returned it.

Look again at the rear quarters. How much further under itself should it be? When the horse moves even with the camera, draw a line from the rear hip and the legs are directly under it. Yes the reigns could be a bit loser, but many times when on the board many people will collect more, meaning tight reins

  • Good on ya! and theyre built that way! they cannot put their hind legs under them like, say, a quarterhorse can. theyre built with their hind legs amost behind them. that theyre under the horse that much is quite amazing. .... ugh, people need to know what theyre talking about. my boss raises and trains peruvian pasos and paso finos.

  • beautiful!

  • Castellano que bueno baila usted.

  • poor horse....

  • ¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿ is natural

  • actually, this horse looks and moves like hes in peak condition.

    Poor you.

  • onde desliga a pilha

  • Nie,no kurcze...Powalające...

    Rewelacja!:)

  • JODAAAA Q VAINA LINDAAA

  • For the people that says this is not natural, I challenge you to make your horses walk something close to this. And if you think this is umcomfortable, you couldn't be more wrong. The day you ride a Paso Fino, you will sell all your horses, garanteed!

  • is that healthy?

  • @classiquedressage Yes it is

  • i cant belive as a big horse person i have never seen this! where have i been?? haha beautiful horse and very interesting gait. spanish horses are stunning! looks so much like its a fast forwarded video haha. lovely horses. i like :-)

  • I really want to know how he does this gait, I mean the person... arg, I'm in love with Pasos *-* they are so lovely *-* and yeah, spanish horses for the win, I have 2 Criollo horses from Argentina *-* lovely... :D

  • the breath is hart and the face of this horse says all. The mouth is OPEN and ...

    ...no, i dont like it.

It is unnatrual like high jumping.

  • horselover your comment shows how ignorant you are... it's like a guy who plays streetball criticising the nba players bc they are not as "spectacular" as street players are... THAT'S SOOOO IGNORANT!!! Horses can be spectacular jumping, running or moving in paso fino, you just have to know how to appreciate what they do... clearly someone with a close mind like your's doesn't...

  • far out!!!

    that was sooo awesum!!!

  • If you don't think the gate is natural, have your horse behave this way(Gait) and then tell me if you were successful!

You have Ferraris, Lambos, Hummers and then...... you have Bentleys!

  • the horse looks constipated

  • thats like ugly looking why would u want your horse to do something that is kinda stupid?

  • why do you say its ugly. its how they are. i mean if you ride horses and you do the hunter clasess where the horses jump over things do you want me to say its unatural because their jumping over things? no. the Paso Fino horse was bred ffrom 3 different breeds. The Andulusian,Barb and the Spanish Jennett. so dont you go on saying oh its so ugly. if you hear the steps of a fine trained Paso Fino, the sound is absolutly beautiful.

  • and it's so comfy ;D

  • This is sooo ugly...

  • Althought I don't think the gate is very natural you have to think, some horses were BRED for it. And honestly, come on now if any of you have worked with horses enough and actually think about it...unless the horses head is tied to it's feet he could pull that rider off as easily as he shakes a flake of hay appart.

  • Its really just as unatural as dressage....

  • this is NATURAL, its what the horse was bred for. They naturally carry their heads very high. Please come out of your shell, with only quarter horses floating around and go out there and explore. All spanish horses walk very proud, with both the head and tail carried high. Again, the Paso Fino is a great breed, just take in account that just because it wont walk like a quarter horse or TB, it DOES NOT mean its not natural.

  • That gate is not natural, I know that for a fact. Though they are bred for this, the horse does not go moving around the paddock like that. I have a colonial spanish horse never seen it walk or trot like that. There is a difference between proud movements and trained movements. Making a horse move like that isn't wrong, I just said it is unnatural.

  • the horse DOES move this way in a paddock, it's just not as exagerated. A colonial spanish horse, is not a paso fino, paso fino's were developed in Puerto Rico and Colombia, they have spanish ancestry, but have nothing to do with spain itself. Watch a paso fino at liberty video and you will see. The horse is born this way, just like the TWH, or Peruvian Paso

  • I have been searching through youtube and I can not find a video that shows a Paso Fino moving in a paddock like this. I can find them walking and trotting normally but thats it. Do you have a link of them moving like this in the paddock?

  • the Paso Fino is born with this step. but in a paddock it can trot it can gallop it can do whatever it wants. but when you ride it. unlike the troting horse when you jump up and down, on a Paso Fino you dont feel anything. its all smooth.

    :)

just trying to clear that up

  • Are you crazy, just curious because you obviously have absolutely no idea of what you are talking about. Babies paso finos 2 weeks old do the same movements and if you get them a little older, 4 to 5 months and make them do circles, they do the same exact step. The rider and trainer just refine and better the ability. 30 years of experience talking. 100 percent natural

  • then you r30 years just went down the drain because these pure papers dont...

  • Just stop embarrassing yourself and talk about something that you do know about, assuming you any anything at all

  • its just that three yearling don't down the road where i work all of them out of imp. stallions and mares and they don't move like that.

  • What type of horses are you talking about

  • Paso Fino...

  • well then they are not good enough to move like champions. they are just regular paso that do the gait but not as fast or refined.

  • @TheVeronicas1Fan Odds are they are pleasure stock and not show stock. They are born with the gait but if ridden to where they are pushed to not gait they will lose it. Also this is a refined version of the gait.

  • mitternachtsmond and nemurin are right, this isn't natural. poor horse.

  • nojoda que culo de caballo eso si es un ejemplar digno de colombia

  • I agree with 'mitternachsmond'.

It certainly looks strained and unatural.

  • Why are those horses not able to lift their backs? It will get kissing spine or other bad problems. And WHY has the rider to pull so strong on the reins? Is this really necessary when it´s a natural gait????? For me it look like a very tensed thorse trying to run away but it can´t because the ride pulls like a maniac in his mouth. So in the end the horse is just struggling under the rider very fast and thats it. Would one of those horse do it freely without pressure of a rider in a field?????

  • No - not like this, I'm certain. This is a very exaggerated, uncomfortable form of what a horse would do in the field. O_o VERY.

It hurts MY back just watching this.

  • este caballo es tremendo bien fino yo le doi un 10

  • this horse is wonderful u guys chuold ride a paso they are the best ride ever quater horses, walking horses, etc. they are not compared to pasos pasos are way better

  • stop giveing that poor horse red bulls

  • that's amazing!

  • WHOA THAT WAS THE BEST PASO CORTO I HAVE SEEN (ON YOUTUBE)

    HEHE

    i ride paso fino

and whoa i am nowhere near there yet

  • he is fino.

  • xD it looks like a achine with those fast moves.. xD

I'm sure they have faster gaits as well when you have to go somewhere ;)

  • too slow horse. Is not useful for walking on ranchs or having fun rides.

  • Que hermosura de caballo

    la verraquera

  • You will not find this gait in a dressage test!

  • never ride like this jerk in the desert: you'll starve before you reach you home!

    b***shit!

  • They were used like most gait horses in the American Continent ... as plantation horses. Check up on the slaves you know?

  • i about to have a fresian and i want to train for tricks and possibly dressage how do you trin a horse to do that???

  • You cant teach a horse that...

    Its their natural gait

  • that is not a stupid walk. these horses are born with this natural gait. you don't know about Paso finos I'm guessing.

  • I think it's a rediculous gait. It seems so damn unnatural.

  • Well the odd things about it is is that it is natural...

    Its kind of neat.

My eyes cant keep up with their front legs cause they move so fast!!

  • @denisjuh Oh yes because TWH gaits are sooooo natural. We don't have to sore our horses to get them to move like this. I was walking a yearling yesterday (on the ground I wasn't riding of course) and he was doing the less refined/less collected form of this.

  • Actually, this is a video of a horse storming out of a hairdressing salon after it was refused service. Watch it again and you'll see what I mean

  • I'm not making a rude comment about this. I just wanted to know what the use for it is. I know like for the Icelandic horses, the tolt or whatever takes less energy, is less bouncy, and goes faster. What was the importance for the funny walking of the Paso?? Like on the ranch. Why did the ranchers need them to do that?

  • Is not for work. Is for luxury. Is something like a Cadillac Scalade and a Heavy work Truck. What is the use for a big car like the scalade? none, just luxury. Catch the idea?

  • ya thanx

  • Amazing.

  • perhaps you could explain ,as i have never see this before.

  • What? The gait? Or the Fino Board?

  • Well a lot of people are attacking the horse and I would like to know---why the gait what are the long trousers for and is there a purpose in this way of going

  • The gait is 100% natural. This gait has been worked on, but only by lots of gaiting and flexing. The chaps are traditional Paso Fino dress, because they used to be used as ranch horses, because they are the smoothest gait to sit. And I'm not sure by whay you mean when you say way of going? Do you mean why is the gait so slow? IF you are, its because this is a show horse, and fast, short steps are the best when it comes to the Paso Fino. To get them to gait like that, its just practice and flexin

  • DID YOU NOT HEAR HOW LOUD THAT HORSE WAS BREATHING? and whats underneath those long pants things eh??? a torcher device?

  • Ignorant
