from 10 times i do it 8 times corectly...but why do i miss those 2 times i cant understand?when i look at the input its the same, even it sounds the same but i still do miss it sometimes...can some1 explain me this?
actualy the first usefull turtorial on youtube abou FADC...untill now i always after the focus atack went 2 times forward, this made my life much easier and shoryuken FADC to U1 is not a problem anymore
Thank you. It is particularly useful listening at the rythm this move use, between the two presses (the button for the hadouken and the two buttons for the FA). Dashing is not a problem but the correct rythm necessary for the success of this cancel is really hard to grasp. I generally play during the night and considering these sticks are really noisy I'm afraid I can't train much :\
it is possible if i can make a video on how to do fdac into ultra on the left side showing ur hands? (1st player) i couldnt do the ultra on the left side at all. i`m using the Te stick,
@FriedxTofu Yea, that's because it's a bit harder on that side. That's the reason why I didn't make the video on that side, lol. I don't know if you've already learned (sorry so late) but the trick is to not grip the stick tightly and to try and use your fingers more than your wrist/hand.
I started to play with my arcade stick that ive had for months but now im really dedicated so i wont be giving up this time. But oh my god i need some help with doing an ultra on the left side of the screen. i can do an ultra without the dp fadc, but when i have to do it fast after the cancel it fails 100% of the time. with ryu you just need to dash one time when doing the ultra but with ken you have to dash twice after the DP and doing the ultra after it just wont work. any tips?
Lol, yea I have a hard time doing the FADC from the left side myself. You DONT have to do the whole thing lightning fast, tho. And I can tell you that the method I show here will work with everyone including Ken.
The only tips I can offer is, you MUST spend good time with the joystick until you have great execution and then practice this method slowly & u should be able to do it at least 50% of the time.
Well, I'm not referring to how often it should be done. As you mentioned it is a staple combo. I'm referring to how often someone should "be able" to do it at a minimum of 50% by practicing the way I mentioned.
You're right of course if I was stating how often someone "should" do it.
good video I just got the normal FADC down. Yours seems a lot easier. Did anyone else have problems doing DP-FADC-Ultra on the left side? What messes me up is the double QCF.
Yea, it's a tad troublesome for me to do it on the left BUT not the Ultra motion but the Shoryu motion.
I have found it to be easier to do what one of the SF4 pros told me...to hold the stick lightly. And on top of that I try no to do everything lightning fast; causes more errors. Hope that helps.
thanks man, ye i have no problem with the shoryuken on the left side, but the ultra motion wont come out its always a hadoken or ex shoryuken. ill try to slow it down cause i do it really fast.
Lol, I played this a couple times trying to make out what is being said and though sometimes it seems as the words are clear enough, I just can't make out enough to translate. I say translate because it's in Spanish. =)
@better20 Wow! I don't know what upbringing you had that forced you to attack me here. My English is more than likely better than yours especially since your spelling and grammar resembles that of a 3rd grader. "Your the one" should be "you're the one", there's no period between "lessons" and "Because", and therefore "Because" did not need to be capitalized. How's that for an English lesson.
@better20 Second, the language they were speaking in the background is NOT English. My friend and I were speaking English, not them. Also, just because I can't make out what's being said, doesn't mean I can't understand a language.

more like 100% of time, ryu DP FADC ultra is his bread and butter.

at 1:24 you cut your mistake :P
However I use the same method, but if you do shoryuken FADC, you've to finish sho with forward input if you want tap forward again only 1 time.

I noticed this while I was practicing hard mode.
It seemed very unreliable at first.
but I guess once you get fast enough to
insure that both "forwards" are quick enough, close enough together.. then it works.
I love SF4. But I hate how retardedly fast you have to input the 20 controller commands.
th game used to be about skill
now it seems like its more about being a "20 controller input commands perfectly" in 1.5 seconds ninja.
which is lame. it shouldnt be about humping the controller.
RobCardIV 2 years ago
Yea, it does seem kinda unreliable when learning it, but after a while and doing it fast enough, it works like a charm.

can u record a video showing Sagat's TU + FADC + HK + ultra ? and the TU + FADC dashing backwards into ultra? thanks!

I'll try. I'm not a Sagat player but I've played him through years of SF. And the same techniques will apply so it shouldn't be too difficult.
