  • and i thought it was my pc....good to know i wasn't alone.....

    super!!!!!

    michael

  • It's really good but ya make it out to be a horror film when it's a crime thriller. Liked it though.

  • Sean, I'm not sure I made it out to be a horror film apart from the tag, more supernatural chiller, but I guess if it was you lying in the bottom of an open grave you'd think it was horror! Glad you liked it though and much thanks for watching and for the rating.

    Ronan

  • It's grand just with the description on the right and the setup in the film I was expecting a Banshee. no problem.

  • I looove this texture. Terrific principal casting, too. Really enjoyed this!

  • Many thanks. Glad to hear it. Really enjoyed making it.

  • Looks good from the first few minutes I watched, I'll watch the whole thing when I have time.

  • Oh.. are you considering reuploading to fit the new ' YT wide screen experience'?

    added 5 extra stars.

  • I hope to but I'll have to re-encode my films I think.

    Ronan

  • classy work Ronan

  • Many thanks my friend.

    Ronan

  • WoW!

just watched this again...its really very good.

could i ask what camera you shot on?

  • Hi Lynne. Thanks for dropping by and for your encouraging comments. The film was shot on super 16mm film and blown up to 35mm for its cinema release.

    Ronan

  • How does that work? I don't mean technically, I mean as an effect. I suppose the transition 'makes' a whole new movie doesn't it?

And how did it do in the cinema? I'd pay to see this on the big screen.

  • Absolutely! And in my case the grainy effect this can cause, enhanced the films look and feel which was very important to me.

    Ronan

  • This is a very classy and polished production, Ronan! :)5/5 from me!

  • Many thanks Ade for your comments and for taking the time to watch it!

    Ronan

  • Great video! :)

  • this was really good Ronan! love the contrasts between the fear that Halloween season gives versus the fear of consequences due to a bank robbery gone bad. bravo!!!

the actors were also very good. you don't show any signs of being a rookie at this. you've got a good eye for creating mood & tone. what's coming up next for your project?

  • Hey PJ. Thank you for your kind words and glad you liked it. Hope you can spread the word about it. Actually my latest film is a documentary on recently deceased Irish author John McGahern. It's called 'Three Days In Summer' and should be finished by the end of June. I am also trying to get a film made about one of Ireland's greatest ancient heroes Cuhullan, pronounced(coo-hullan). And yes. Still busy but still broke!

    Ronan

All the hallmarks of a top feature film. If RTE are anything like the AFC, they don't know the talent they're missing out on. Congratulations on fine work!

Am off to check out your channel, I think we have a lot in common politically.
