Man, you really know how to play the guitar. Maybe you should try and play something more difficult. I know Trivium is very painful for the right hand, but why not try and play some Dream Theater. Some o fthe songs are quite nasty.

The part he's playing at 17 seconds is an octave higher than the part Matt plays in the Guitar World lesson video. for some reason a lot of people like to play it there -_-

thats the part you hear in the song... it's on the A string and you pull off from 12th fret to 10th fret twice, and then pull off from 10th fret to 9th fret. ERm.. hard to explain.. i think you'll get it when you try it.

thanks a lot man, I used the tabs on Guitar world Magazine January issue (the one with Dave Mustaine, Matt Heafy, Herman Li, etc on the cover) as I explained in an earlier comment, I changed the sweep because I cannot play properly the one that's shown on the tabs. Thanks for watching

Thank you Taimoe. When I record things I do not use an amplifier. I use the Guitar Port, from Line 6, and connect it directly to the computer via USB cable. It is an amazing and cheap way to record your guitar. I recorded the entire album of my band using it. The software included many amps and heads for you to combine, plus many stompboxes so you can customize and create your sound. Thanks for watching

Thank you very much man. As you mentioned, my sweep is different, it's an a minor (i think) sweep with the 7th added. Corey's way is of course a bit more difficult, but at the end they sound familiar.

Thanks man, tabs helped, except in the first part of the solo, Corey does something slightly different. The sweep picking is supposed to be along the neck, I preety much stick to an A mayor sweep pick
