@manuelgozo except that that is is a turbo prop (probably a PT6) and has no Magnetos like your thinking of. its a jet engine with a prop stuck on the slow side of a reduction drive. he was 100% safe the whole time.

In general, if the plane has either (1) more than one propeller or (2) the propeller has more than two blades, it has this complicated type of propeller.

It's nice to see how the props are machined and put on aircraft. They are forged in Cleveland Ohio.
