Diesel is not made from Gas.

Both Diesel and Gasoline are refined from Crude Oil, It's just Diesel is processed sooner in the Distillation Process than Gasoline is.

all of this is true, but this damn city slicker doesn't know this. all he did was put about a quart of transmission fluid in the oil. doesn't hurt the truck a bit. just makes it smoke is all. young kids do this often to show off. and you know they are young city slickers if you just look at the wheels...

Actually if you want to blame global warming on a vehicle, blame it on yourself and your gasoline powered car. Diesel fuel is really heavy and only makes it about 200ft in the air before coming back down to earth. Your gasoline car goes up and up and up and up. I hate idiots.

black smoke just means you have more fuel then you can burn on low end because there is no boost yet. once the truck is at boost the smoke goes away. its not bad unless it smokes when the truck is at boost too. then you need a bigger turbo to compensate for all the fuel.

U r getting the most out of a diesel by overfuelling I agree, its because diesels run excess air; the injected fuel only penetrates so far, not all of air is used, so u overfuel and it penetrates further. time is the limiting factor. smoke results by burning hydrocarbons with not enough O2, HC+ O2=H2O CO and C (carbon.).

for everybody stacking is using two chips, one in the diagnostic port, under your steering column, and on more plugged into the port under your hood. makes alot of power, but can really fuck up your truck.

no no no... The black smoke you see is unburnt fuel dumping out of the exhaust. Which would make it rich and make the EGTs go down. White smoke is usually a blown head gasket from the coolant burning. smarty pants.

Almost, the black smoke is a result of burning a hydrocarbon with not enough oxygen, as a result u seperate carbon and hydrogen and oxidise both, co and h2o, with not enough O2 u get co, h2o and C- carbon- black smoke.

Unfortunately the Cummins 6.7 ISB is already offered for the F650.. but most people won't need that much of a truck, and if they did they'd probably go with the Cat engine instead.

dood thats way too much smoke. you need to change some stuff up. You should get a rail pressure gauge. The programs have a lot of pulse width, which will drain the rail down quickly. If below 18,000 psi then u'd be better off running a lower tune or a mod'd cp3 to maintain 23,000 psi or better.

good pump runs about 30,000 psi peak and sustains 28,000 on a WOT run. cut's down on the smoke and makes better power. It's about getting the fuel in the cylindr at the right time.
