There's a huge difference between making a joke and committing violent acts against a human being, regarding their race, sex, nationality, etc. Jokes are meant to make people laugh and helps us stop worrying about the bad stuff. This woman is clearly implying in her first "joke" that if a black woman kills her children she is doing something good for society. Lets get away from the "Comedy" of it all and focus on the words that are coming out of this woman's mouth and to who is being aimed at.

@honcan69 Words can be powerful, but it's doesn't mean we should allow ourselves to be hurt by such words. Her first joke is about a black woman having many abortions, which is the termination of pregnancy by removing the fetus from the uterus. Murdering people is a crime and abortion is not the same as murder b/c fetus is not a fully-developed child. She is making jokes like these in order to ease all the stress and tension because people are still uneasy when it comes to discussing race.

@honcan69 Yes, I do find the joke funny because it was made for laughs and she wasn't being serious. Sure, some jokes may sound dark and cynical to some people, but I think that's the beauty of it because there are very few people who are willing to talk about something that is horrible and then turn it into comedy gold. Look at Dave Chappelle, Bill Maher, Seth Green, and George Carlin for a example. All these comedians talk about serious and risqué topics and make them hilarious.

Lisa Lampanelli is just a comedian who is doing something what she always love to do -- to make people laugh. She is no different than any other comedians on television. That is all that I'm saying.
