Don't believe that this is representative of most Americans, MrZadothePriest. True, our nation has changed and many are "scared lemmings". But the majority of us are still just seeking the American Dream and we don't buy into the nightmare. Look closely and you will see that we are STILL contributors to science, literature, and philosophy.
I too find this ridiculous and hilarious. Most of us do. It's an unfortunate reality that you aren't seeing the real USA anymore. We're still here.

@karmacounselor Just so you know, the scary voice was a transmission received over 4 television stations in the UK. The audio had been hacked without even the producers or studio personnel knowing while a live new broadcast was being conducted. It wasn't until thousands of people called the station and basically were asking WTF? Happened in 1970's and to this day, state it would be near impossible to hack that many stations at one time without a trace of evidence. Search Vrillion Transmissoin.
