A funny story about Ms. Warrick. She almost did not get the role of Phoebe Tyler back in

'69. Agnes Nixon was looking for a woman closer to Kate Martin's age-as Ruth was only 54 then. So after  much persuasion Agnes cast Ruth as Phoebe & the story was revised to make her Charles "Chuck" Tyler,III's step grandmother & Dr. Tyler's 2nd wife. His first wife, Alicia, died while in childbirth with their son Charles Jr.

Daytime doesn't seem to do great characters like Mona, Phoebe or Myrtlew anymore. It's all young and pretty and cannot act. No wonder the audiences are dropping away.

I remember this episode it aired 3 days before I left for orlando. Then my mom had sent me an article about Aunt Phoeobe passing away. I will always miss her and Mrytel.

Thanks for uploading this. At this time i was banned from tv. lol so i didnt see. and i didnt' really see Phoeobe either. so i didn't know what she was like.
