  • That was as funny as fuck! Very well done db0db.

  • Yes, much R4 comedy is pitiful, but the BBC is inherently pro-establishment: the weakness of their comedy is conformist (weak laughter not demos and riots). And The Daily Mail is an easy target largely for its consistently hysterical tone, scaremongering, wild fluctuation between what causes or cures cancer... one could go on. Plus it was very enthusiastic about one Mr. Hitler in the 1930's, an unfortunate fact which causes the editor to go into paroxysms whenever it gets raised.

  • You could use that "argument" to justify the arbitrary state taxation of practically any any product or service. What you are saying is "if you don't wanna pay the tax don't watch telly"..OK why not extend this to tennis rackets, sugar, DVD players, cars.. in fact why not let the BBC tax everything.

The only reason you advocate state taxation of TVs is because you are a leftist and you agree with their agenda. It is intellectual dishonesty of the highest order.

  • @anyfekinnamewilldo

Explain to me why you think i'm a leftist. Is it because papers like the daily mail tell you that if people are not particularly arsed with the tv license or infact like it, they have to be a leftist?

  • Ha ha - nails those Now Show tossers!

  • Great stuff. 1:43 So true!

PS. You need some better tags if you want more views - maybe "BBC bias global warming" etc.

  • I dislike the bbc and its bloated left wing position in society. What i hate more however are the mail and the express and its permanently sensationalised readership. You can't blame comedians for launching attacks at the mail, its a sitting duck. I dislike more having a conversation with a mailite and listening to another one with the same warped ideas and opinions as the last mailite I spoke to, and the 10 before them. Drop the license fee, but destroy the Mail and its readers first please

  • But nobody forces me to buy the Daily Mail..so I don't. Different story with the license fee though!

  • @anyfekinnamewilldo But we are forced to listen to dullard mailites droaning on - why don't you just buy a real paper like the Telegraph?! The DM is an easy target because thats how it chooses to position itself. I have no choice but to fund the mail through the advertising that fills up about 75% of the paper alongside the pictures of celebrities and the occasional news item thats actually just one sided poorly researched ("our source", "a source", "a close source" etc) rubbish.

  • @costedmn What do u mean "why don't you just buy a real paper" I don't buy the DM. If the advertisements rankle you so..don't buy the paper or products of companies who advertise within it. Nobody is forcing you to do anything.

  • @anyfekinnamewilldo nobody is forcing you to buy a tv license

  • @costedmn Yes they are..unless I choose not to have a TV

  • @anyfekinnamewilldo there you go

  • @costedmn Then obviously I am compelled to buy a TV licence by force and coersion.

This is the height of absurdity. You are refusing to see what everyone else sees: you are a slave by choice!

  • @anyfekinnamewilldo You don't have to have a tv or have to watch tv

  • Yet more generic ad hominem attacks which I guess proves the point of the video.

  • Superb! That's the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.
