I remember being ten years old and seeing that collection being reported on the the nightly news with Peter Jennings. It was the most interesting amazing thing to me at that point in my life. Those scenes and images stayed with me until I really got into fashion. I later found out it was an Alexander McQueen show and I was soo happy that it was. Hes has always been my favorite since. I'm sobbing right now.

Alexander McQueen was an outrageously gifted designer, probably the most thought projected designer of our time. May you rest in peace Lee!

p.s. Suicide should never be an option, no matter how hard things may be. I have personally been to the gates of hell and the thought entered my mind but I knew better because I not only take my own life but I devastate others who love and care for me as well. Sorry but suicide is selfish!

Haute Couture basically just means French clothes made by hand at few privileged fashion houses. But as you know Couture fashion shows and clothes have become very dramatic and arty(think Galliano for Dior, Gaultier etc.), and that's why I said Erin is couture because she's not just a wholesome mannequin doll that moves. She becomes a character and moves dramatically etc. as you can see on this video(in the red dress and in the dark lighting after it).

I loved seeing Daria Morgendorpher (the animated MTV show character) in the FW99 collection. It made for a funny image. It's nice to see a little humour in some of the outlandish images in fashion. I love the F99 collection. Superb!
