  • @thedarksidehaunt360 I'll help you pack.

  • hey $264 and a place to live sounds good to me

  • China needs to say "We're mad as hell, and we're not gunna take it anymore." Why can't China be like Syria or Cairo or Libya??

  • @trugangsta4real China is the place that has a 10 year prison sentence for trying to start a union and executes people and charges the cost to the family. It would take hundreds of thousands of workers to make a difference and a small difference.

  • @trugangsta4real It is also illegal to talk to co workers.

  • @trugangsta4real Because they will die if they do protest or speak out.

  • @remy3315 Plenty of Syrians are dying. That's sometimes what it takes to change things. The Chinese need to grow a pair.

  • You also have to remember that manufacturing companies started going deeper into countryside to get cheaper workers. Some factories are built around medium sized villages. Foxconn might move out of China to Malaysia/Africa/whatever to get lower wages and there's nothing wrong with that.

  • In last year there was something relatively big - ruling party let yuan appreciate a bit. If they were to let it float freely/sell US bonds that have by trillions of USD or anything of that kind Chinese could become 2-3x rich within a day. :)

I repeat again: with floating currency things balance itself. For some idiotic reason Chinese have leaders that don't want individuals (and nation as a whole) to get rich as consumer. It's not related to unions or specific company.

  • I'm not talking about Foxconn alone. There are lot more companies. Ask any importer of Chinese goods, some of them are really small importers and they write blogs/write on forums.

Normally, if a country were to export so much its currency would appreciate. But ruling party doesn't like that for some stupid reason. Money that Chinese spent on manufacturing goods for US would be invested and/or consumed in China. Chinese worker could buy more goods and get paid more in real terms.

  • Free room and board!!! this world is nuts. That is not room and board. That is a prison.

  • "Over 20 years we never experience anything like this" Lying sack of shit.

  • 4:32 - 4:47 - If I had to do that just for an hour, what hour, 10 minutes I would become suicidal. I tried looking at that part of video for 1 minute straight and it is too much for me. Working on a line is horror for me. I hate this, now I am suppose to be happy with my employment, and I know I am deprived of my rights. My boss even used this as reference to reduce my salary and holidays with : you work in better conditions then them and get more money then them, be happy.I need to win on lotto

  • I am a Chinese worker, I was (re-employment), trade unionists, the Chinese working class, constantly unite, organize, maintain the rights and promote the development of the labor movement.

  • @yumenyukuaile labor unionist should be executed. Freely floating currency on the other hand would really help the Chinese.

  • • 各国的工人阶级,都在斗争,工人阶级诉求相同,工人阶级需要相互理解和支持!

Countries of the working class, in the struggle, the same demands of the working class, the working class the need for mutual understanding and support!

  • @yumenyukuaile there's no working class, everyone is a worker for 8 h a day (Chinese more but whatever) and CONSUMER for remaining 16 hours. It's ironic that communists in China go to jail for trying to form unions. :>

  • • 命运的注定,工人阶级需要抗争;命运注定,工人阶级需要斗争!我们的组织(国际劳工•国际工会),需要更加的努力,做出更大的贡献!

The fate of the doomed, the working class need to fight; fate of the doomed, the working class need to fight! Our organization (International Labor International Union), require more effort to make a greater contribution!

I visit the websites and post comments with the assistance of machine translation. Thanks my friends for their understanding, support and help."

  • Almost everything is made in China. I feel I should check my dog for the famous "Made In China" Print. Its a Pug...

  • We would love to have this jobs in Morocco if they don't want this jobs

  • use machine~

  • You greedy westerners who buy Apple products should be ashamed of yourselves. You exploit the poor, turning a blind eye to the misery created by the Chinese bosses.

  • @creativeengineer I'm western, and i think Chinese workers are the most horrible kind of salvery there is in our modern world. Not only that, but it's also sad that we could easily replace the workers with robots. Expensive? No way, get cheap ones that don't break. Done, but this is just sick.

  • @Ruttie2 China is a dog eat dog society where money and exploitation rules everything. Communism is dead and the corrupt leaders are telling lies about the glories of communism when what they are doing is pocketing bribes and giving relatives top jobs. They think they have face behind their grease filled hair and dark suits when in reality they are pure scum. The slaves will one day revolt and seek retribution on the treacherous capitalists who run China.

  • @creativeengineer There's a term for that. It's called plutocracy. The rich control the place, period. But that's everywhere, not just in China. America is the same thing, the people are told that they're free and blablabla, but in the end, they're just slaves like the rest. The only difference is that the Chinese KNOW they're slaves, so they have less productivity.

  • @Ruttie2 I agree to some extent. The Chinese are ignorant of the rest of the world by force. The Americans are ignorant of the rest of the world by choice. Both countries are fed a constant barrage of lies by their leaders. It is only when brave individuals expose the lies do people start to question the frogshit they have been told, but in both countries the people are powerless to do anything about it. The rich, powerful and greed infested run both countries. 1984 is here. 1984 is now.

  • @creativeengineer Exactly, i won't be surprised if the world becomes like that movie. I mean like you said, the people are powerless.

  • In China, the people are completely powerless against the dictators unless they are rich and pay significant bribes to officials. One example is tobacco companies there who have a strong voice. The CCP's biggest worry is social networking, because if the Chinese people can organise themselves the CCP would be crushed and its senior officials executed for crimes of corruption.

  • @creativeengineer That also counts for america. There, they act like people are free, and people actually think so. But they're trying to censor the net as soon as possible. Till then they've started ''anti-terror'' programs, to look for anyone who wants to start another riot or an occupy movement, and wipe out the IP adress. It's the same shit, and in america, all companies have a voice, it's central bank is above the law! Many americans are very poor as well, so it's 1:1.

  • @Ruttie2 True. The US government wants complete control of the net, but for many reasons. One is to try to, and rightly so, stop the criminals in the communist Chinese government hacking into western websites to steal information... the greasy haired dictators deny everything of course. Another would be to stop sites like Wikileaks, because it is uncontrolled media.

  • @creativeengineer Pffff, the western world stole things from China hundreds of years ago EVEN BEFORE America even existed. Now they steal from the west, and now they're suddenly the criminals. And atleast Wikileaks told the truth! Not some oil company drived fascist agenda media like FOX or CBS. ?That's what makes the net so free. Besides, the pentagon did not accidentaly leak that information as it turned out, so that's disinfo if it's that what you're taught.

  • @Ruttie2 The Chinese steal from the west because under the dark clouds of communism they lost any ability to innovate. Their communist education system spoon feeds students from primary school to university. That is why many educated Chinese and other communists who flee to the west are good at following instructions and rote learning but usually lack innovation and creativity. Most manufacturers in China that make innovative quality products do so only because of joint ventures with the west.

  • @creativeengineer Actually, multi-nationals claim copies to be innovating. You see, hundreds of years ago, China was the leading world power. At the time, the west looked at China like a horrible molesting father, who had all the power. They used to send english spies to STEAL and COPY all of their techniques. Now the roles are switched, but it's going to switch back soon enough. You see, they've been preparing while you idiots only made ''ipods'' and ''ipads'' (Also China).

  • @Ruttie2 Japan was the same. In 1950s Japan was pretty much the same as China in 90s. For instance there was a "friendly visit" of engineers from Japan in 50s in transistor factory in USA. Americans couldn't figure out why Japanese were making so many photos. 2 years later they were competing with Japanese factory and few years later Japanese had quite a bit part of global market of transistors.

  • nice video. not as graphic as it could have been but thats ok

  • This is how slavery is now... Shameless.. Foxconn is a jail. Sharing a dorm room with 7 other girls! just sad......

  • "The company provides free room & board." Oh wow, how generous!

That "mattress" looks like a damn piece of cardboard.

  • When your only form of survival is the dollar and not being a human and hunting and finding your own...simply because another human has taken up the space..this form of slavery is inevitable.

  • those two face taiwanese mother fuckers, If you gonna make people work a ridicules amount of over time, it as to be by choice and you have to pay them 1 1/2 for the fist 2 hours and double pay for the last 2 hours for 4 hours of Over time

fuck Foxconn your time will come

  • @ericssson you're a hopeless tool, you live in the west exploit every single of these Chinese workers and dare talk about them being exploited? The only reason they still make this shit for you is temporary USD rate imbalance. Companies importing from China saw 20% increase in wages just last year and nothing is certain anymore. If USD to yuan rate were to change just a bit more you could be making these IPhones for Chinese. :>

  • @mootant I don't think you get the point here....china conformed to the pattern of previous manias and bubbles with uncritically assumed growth story, easy money and credit expansion...20% increase ? they make 340 a mouth ass hole working 70 hours a week , those 3 face taiwanese mother fuckers are the worse profiteers around

  • This is slavery for the rich people

  • this is ridiculous. People act like they care but don't. This has been going on for decades, what? we didn't expect these things to happen? But what can we do? If we refuse to support these sweatshops, then those who are depending on that $200 u.s. will probably starve to death. And we would have to pay more for the product that those sweatshops are making. If there is a way that all parties can come out as winners then let's go for it.

  • @gamerz000 the way is better rules and conditions for workers, and less monopoly from the few people that make their paychecks.
