@TheGuilliesuitSniper nope.. he disappeared & I never saw him again.. maybe he just got stealthy cos we had 'hitman' do a pest inspection some time later (to check for termites which are bad in our area) .. they rekon they found rat droppings in the garage so they put some rat poison in.. I never saw any rats about after that one got its nose smacked so maybe hitman were just drumming up their work or something..

I got rats on my roof as well and i was thinking to apply a Nightvision surviellance camera to see where they'r climbing from.They r not in the house yet,but if i can discover where theyR coming from and block it,i might get rid of their annoying sounds..Why you didnt buy a cage style trap to catch it alive?

at night they went in the bird cage for food (amazing, trough 1x1cm fence!) however when they ate the food they didnt fit trough the hole anymore.
the bird cage had a wooden door with a wood strip in front of it.
i thought hm, they try to escape.. why not set the door open for an edge and see what happens. well they jumped over the strip and sat between the door and the strip. next thing was simply slam the door shut and voila caught a dead mouse!

If you haven't tried this yet, you should set the traps with the bait [make sure it's not on loose] and the trap isn't activated. By doing this will make the mouse put down its guard because it gets comfortable. Eventually you can activate the trap. Catch it by surprise.

one mouse resides in my room, it was squished under the broken top cusion of my chair which happens to be resting on my carpet. anyways it was scratching away unable to escape that's when i heard mini clawing noises, i lifted it and zoom....the mice went directly to the door.way i dunno if it made it downstairs or it's hanging around my closet, tomorrow i gotta investigate my room..this happened about 30 mins ago.

we had rats at work, set some traps. came in the next morning and found one of the traps had been sprung but no rat, there was blood streaks all over the floor around it looked like a murder scene it was sick! later that day we found the rat on top of a tire down the isle a little ways. had its nose caught in the trap, must have struggled for quite a while :(

Get the crossman 760 pump master it takes more pumpts but it goes up to 40 pumps and mine went through an inch of wood at about 15 pumps...

If you haven't tried this yet, you should set the traps with the bait [make sure it's not on loose] and the trap isn't activated. By doing this will make the mouse put down its guard because it gets comfortable. Eventually you can activate the trap. Catch it by surprise.

I like it.. i like it a lot.. you have to think like a rat.. be the rat.. know thy enemy hehe fortunately we havent had any of these guys in our house lately.. though the cane frogs are more abundant.. maybe they ate the rats.. groooop groop groop.. oh and we have some stupid bird making 'whooop whoop' noises in annoying repetition from 4am (stupid bird needs 'it' bad).. stupid bird mating season pfft

one mouse resides in my room, it was squished under the broken top cusion of my chair which happens to be resting on my carpet. anyways it was scratching away unable to escape that's when i heard mini clawing noises, i lifted it and zoom....the mice went directly to the door.way i dunno if it made it downstairs or it's hanging around my closet, tomorrow i gotta investigate my room..this happened about 30 mins ago.

we had rats at work, set some traps. came in the next morning and found one of the traps had been sprung but no rat, there was blood streaks all over the floor around it looked like a murder scene it was sick! later that day we found the rat on top of a tire down the isle a little ways. had its nose caught in the trap, must have struggled for quite a while :(
