I was in love the day I saw her perform at the Night Gallery in Calgary. She was downing cough syrup and singing like an angel. Apologizing that she had a cold she made me swoon! My heart was never so full as the day I saw Niko sing Furnace Room Lullaby!

yeah, i bought this album about 8 or 9 years ago? And the guy said "good choice, she used to sing in..." I thought he said Porno for Pyros...but he obviously said The New Pornographers. Thanks for the clarification. I will have to check them out.

Yeah, she still does sing with them and shes on tour with them now. She also recorded their latest album "Together" that came out this year (Plus the other 4). They're one of my favorite bands and shes the best lead vocalist they have! (Out of 4)

No she didn't but she was in a punk band called Maow in the early days and then The New Pornographers.
Her favourite band is The Sadies, who she performs with in this video. It was shot at the recently closed Matador Club in Toronto, which was an after hours club for 45 years. Neko is in a class all herself. No one can touch her. She is the best.
