the same thing happened to me in the winter of 95 i had 600 miles on my new ZR1 and my house caught on fire and my baby melted, lucky insurance covered it

What a heartbreaker ! Those corvettes are a awsome ride. I want to get one in the spring. a c-5 or even a c-6. I hope the owner comes out of this tragety OK !

I think he worked for Chevy. He got another one shipped in the next day, with racing stripes!

He got his stuff out afterward, a coat and a few other things from the back. The fire didn't spread to the cabin

I didn't go this year because I was getting ready for a fishing trip the after. Great, I miss this?????? I might carry my fire extingisher from now on to lend a hand to anyone else this might happen to.

Sorry to the owner - hopefully if there was an option he later wish he had, he'll have a chance to get after the insurance payment comes in.
