  • At 4:30 I see Dee Felice Trio, Village Callers, Roy Ayers Coffy, Counts Jan Jan, Hal Singer Paris Soul Food, Grassella Oliphant Grass is Greener...I dunno if that Muro's wall, but it's def not bad compared to the NY boutiques

  • Must be nice when you just "feel like digging" you can jump up and catch a flight to japan for a few records

  • so lets here about YOUR success then, mr "claim to be" intelligent and all!

your high level writing, is also a matter of perspective. You fail in that respect!

  • I've been to Shibuya. It's outrageous for records.

  • oh harro rord finesse, i have rots of lecord for you but YOU BRAKE!, YOU BUY!!

  • Having lived in Japan for about 5 years, I can tell you first hand: Japan's got records.

Just expect to pay out the ass for most records (especially first pressings)

  • anyone outthere knows the name of the un - warp maschine shown in these clips?

  • so right so right Japan has got it all, check out all those reissues erupting from that country wauv, big heavy beats, amazing, love it...

  • muro - " i try not to think in terms of profit" that's some staright bullshit there!!!!! savage was always WAY overpriced LOL

  • @tokyo1crates supply and demand, if someone cares about profits they move more volume and price shit to sell.

  • @eyesea

you must be stupid! muro says he tries not to think about profit, which would mean he priced to move more volume, like you said. BUT, as I said, shit isn't priced to move, it's crazy overpriced........maybe you have some obvious misunderstandings about the supply and demand concept

  • @tokyo1crates ??? if he was trying to run a business he would less as much product as possible. he doesn't do that, instead stocks less stuff that is higher priced. part of supply and demand is that limited supply creates high demand which means high prices.

  • @eyesea

you are SUCH a dumbass!! did you EVER go to Savage records? stfu about things you have no clue about, rookie........go do another basic commerce course at community college

  • @tokyo1crates idk how much a course like that would help me when i've successfully started and ran my own business

  • @eyesea

First of all, your English isn't so great. The course might educate you in that sense.

Let's have the link to this success story you talk of!

I wasn't having a dig at YOUR work practice in the first place, but I'd be interested to see what you're idea of successful is ;)

  • @tokyo1crates success is a matter of perspective, even in business. also, i write at a very high level and my english is fine, i just don't take my time to write perfectly for shit like youtube comments... because really who the fuck cares. muro has probably made a ton of connections through the shop, and been able to get all kinds of records he was looking for, also have more space for storing his collection too. its probably more of a plaything than a business for him. lots of ppl r like that

  • lol @ "boon coon"

  • "it's getting harder and harder to find good records. Especially in a big shitty."

    LOL

  • at 5:20 dude says "when find good record, I get hard on hard on" ; D

  • Thank you pete rock for distracting me and getting my mind set on hitting up the record shop, and not on writing a paper for one of my classes.

  • damn, spice was dope too.....gone

  • homebass all closed up

damn, still remember pulling dysfunkshunal famillee new ruff flava ep for 1usd along with money boss players and MANY others........back when they moved to that store from the previous they sold all their stock for 100yen.......I took home 4 crates that day.....heaps of mad indi shit deadstock sealed

those days are gone, but jpn got the flava

  • Digging goes beyond North America and Japan, why not feature more countries?, Argentina is a fantastic place for samples....

  • After seeing this i have to go to the record store to do some beat diggin' while smoking some fat ass blunts...

    LIKE AN ADDICTION

  • @WisiUnderground ...keepin' you hooked.

  • i wanna go dig now

  • i love vinyl more than anything in the world

  • Thanks man!!!! Can I see the whole film online?

  • It's Pete's fault if we all got the Diggin' addiction :D
