This song was written for David Milgaard, the man wrongfully convicted and imprisoned for 29 years. Only DNA absolved him in 1997 and the man did not hold any grudge against anyone.... wheat kings b/c that's what David saw when looking out of his prison window...

I agree. I'm from Ontario but whether you are from Bonavista NF or Victoria BC this band speaks to our national history. To those who try to split our country into different parts, f-off !
@snakehissken Ya man! My family is from Glace Bay, NS and Aylmer QB. Now I live in Ottawa. From end to end In my mind there is no country better on earth. I thought about it the other day. With all the medical appointments i've needed for sports (rugby, hockey, football) through broken bones, torn muscles, ligaments and concussions. Its been no problem. Love this country! Oh Canada! No way in hell i'm moving.
