  • 6:01 FANTASTIC !

    ZHANG JIKE <3 <3 <3

  • This young guy can play...Boll is still my favorite player...ping pong is at a new level...

  • 6:00 - 6:10 what a rally.

  • Is the serve from Timo Boll not illegal because the he through the ball not high enough or?

  • toreeeeeeee...

  • so many unforced errors by zhang

  • Ofc chinese wins? Why do they even play these games, because it's 100% that Chinese are the winners.

  • that table tennis match had the difficulty: Asian

Makes it an easy game for zhang-Jike

  • Great match, but man those celebrations by Zhang are so annoying.

  • wow, one of the best matches ive ever seen

  • TWOOOOOOOOOOAH

  • Boll is useless as usual.

  • @ingullar boll has beaten ma long the worlds number one before u better shut ur stupid mouth cause u obviously has no idea.

  • Phenomenal playing and video quality! Thank you.

  • I just hate the players, who scream at every ball *choaaah*, that´s just stupid...

  • Yeah, I think Zhang is little bit arrogant from a Chinese point of view. Because of the competitiveness of Chinese national team, since there are just too many good players.I've heard it was pretty brutal over there. They have trained players into beasts. it is more likely a show to his teammates.

  • Great table tennis by both specially jike

  • 6:01 what a great shot from both players! <3 Ping Pong

  • Even has dominant as the Chinese in table tennis, they sometimes have to pray too. Liu Guoliang looks up in the Heaven and thanks it. Every now and then miracles happen and a European or Korean player would win it by beating one Chinese after another, which is an extremely difficult task. Even if Timo beats Zhang Jike, he would have to also beat Wang Hao.

  • I wonder how often does a non Chinese person win an international tournament

  • Timo is my idol.Chinese are my idiots.

  • @RORONORSOLO unfortunately, an idiot won your idol .....lol

  • That was sick

  • once Zhang Jike starts attacking, its over...

  • Very good match and always entertaining to watch, whoever won :)

  • To all the folk out there who are upset or disapproving of ZJK's "cho"ing or "excessive celebrations". If Timo Boll did the same thing, I doubt anyone would disapprove. Those kind of expressions are ridiculously common in Table Tennis. It's only because these guys are televised that we notice them, but if you visit smaller leagues around the world, you'll find that many of them celebrate winning points far more exuberantly than these guys.

T-Up for being passionate about your game!

  • 8:19 Look at Wang Liqin and Xu Xin :)

  • I just don't get acts of celebration in general, it boggles my mind. I've played tennis and table tennis for most of my life, and I never celebrate openly in tournaments or otherwise, strikes me as rude. Small gestures are fine, but yelling is just silly.

  • @Mablak This is World Championships we're talkin about. Even in other sports, if it's a world event of course it's relevant. And athletes do that to boost their confidence in the game. It's useful for them...

  • Did youtube get stupid or is it just me. Awhile back, when you get a rely from someone in your inbox, you click on the link and there goes your message. Now, you can't find that anymore, making hard to make a rely after reading what the other person had to say.

  • you don't cho at every fucking point

  • @cookiedude225 yes you can

  • @threefifteeny and you also can swear at your opponent, but that's disrepectful

  • very good player vs excellent player :D

  • I try to improve my side-rotated services so opponent can't return it using spin, so I don't understand why those professionals serve long balls good for spin.

  • according to me timo boll is one of the best players in TT

  • why do westerners call him Jang yike?????? Its Zhang Jike...

  • i was there

  • 3:38

  • amazing!!!

  • China will always produce world champion table tennis players (Helps when you have over a billion citizens)...generally robots with great technique.

Zhang fits the same mold but is different he shows emotion...but for me to much! Every point he wins he needs to scream. He reminds me of Monica seles, sharapova on a tennis court. SHUT UP!!! I hope one day there might be a player almost as good as Waldner!!

  • @robinho1979 if Waldner really wanted Europe to rise to challenge China, then he shoulda retired a while ago to search and raise raw young talents himself instead of hording the competition spots for himself with no chance of winning for being so old.

  • Chinese people are smart and hard working, in general speaking.

But their attitude is not quite of good. That's why their country has more than 5000 years of history but living standard is lower than Europe and the US.

They need to be humble to learn more until reaching to the top of the world, as their wish.

  • @thuynguyen111 well spoken. the chinese is the top of the world at hard working, believe me.

  • @thuynguyen111 massive generalisation, do you even know the specifics? What you're saying is basically due to Chinese people's "bad attitude" has caused the "country's living standards to be poor for over 5000 years". Nice generalisation mate.

  • @Nightblade2222

Sorry, on youtube we can't discuss more. Agree or not agree, it's the readers' own opinion.

  • @thuynguyen111 Well then, you keep your ignorant opinions and I'll keep my facts ;)

  • @thuynguyen111

This is partially correct. I agree there is a need for improvement, but there is also a miss in culture translation.

China has a lower living standard than western countries now, but that does not extend to 5000 years. Just look at the world GDP for the last 500 years, China has 350+ years in world leader position, and around 1820 China has 30% world GDP.And soon as projected, it will be the world leader again by 2020.

  • @nanto7

I don't know about what you said. All I know is in the 20th century, Chinese living standard is lower than many European countries. By the year of 2020, that won't be changed a lot. All i know is without trading with the US, China couldn't be like this today. So, the point is there's something that Chinese should learn from the westerners.

One example: let be proud of what we have in the present. Don't bring up the past or base on the wishing future to be proud of.

  • lol at 7:36 zhang jike "oh shit, where's my paddle. oh, i threw it. uhm, i'll just pump my chest."

  • 5:50

  • Who knows the name of Timo Boll's shorts?

  • 6:01 - 6:08 = impossible

  • THIS IS REALLY UNBERIEVABRE!

  • ZHANG JIKE RULES

  • the problem is that in reality its only timo boll vs china...no one else in germany can compete at this level....china can have 20 players if allowed in the olympics and the worlds...chinese are all top level...

  • @kmml1972 Well, Ovtcharov beat Zhang Jike in 2009 danish open, so I'm not too sure I agree. He's also beaten Wang Liqin in 2007 or something. But in general, you are correct.

  • @forestloves well on 2009 zhang was nobody really...and in 2007 wang ligin was out of the chinese team cause he wasnt playing well....but yeah ovtcharov is a good player...enough to beat say upto top 10 maybe in the world, but i trully believe that he wont anytime soon become top 5 in the world in other words i dont think that he can acomplish what timos done...if he plays ma long or wang hao or zhang jike at the moment ovtcharov would get stumped...

  • Probably, yes. Unfortunately.

  • @forestloves whats happening in sweeden..all of a sudden there are no more top 5 in the world..

  • @kmml1972 True.

I don't care too much, though, that Sweden hasn't recovered and needs to reboot. The most stressing issue to TT is China's dominance. But I think it's a tremendous mistake by the ITTF to only have two (2) slots per country for the World Cup and the Olympics. That's *NOT* the way to fix the problem. China deserves their dominance at the moment - let them have it! Actually, since Ma Long is Sharara's favorite (ITTF president), I hope Ma Long won't play in London. Just for that.

  • @forestloves alot of politics...you right tho...

  • LOL Zhang strategy:

all the balls on BOLL's backhand !!!

  • @kuvhlubkojxwb2010 Yes, but only becouse Zhangs Vorhand Timos backhand is

  • @kuvhlubkojxwb2010

zhang's forehand attack is just too strong. very rare to see such good forehand attacks

  • Timo is 2 years older than Jike

  • @SirZhan No, he is 7 years older

    Boll: 81, Jike: 88

    Check wiki

  • @rosun82 oops my bad thx

  • Zhang Jike can give a competition to Linkin Park!!! Just look at the way he shouts!!! :) Thumbs up??

  • odolany...he is zhang jike...not Jean Eycke...mwahahaha

  • Ha, 8:20 Wang is stoic and silent when his teammate and compatriot wins...jealous much?

  • Great match, great quality video! thanks alot

  • this Jean Eycke is really good

  • Respect to Timo for playing great match! Zhang Jike is a real beast, I don't remember anyone playing ever that fast. Nevertheless, also Timo is getting better, hopefully he will be in the top shape during Olympics.

  • Timo boll great sportsman !

  • 6:01 - 6:30 monstrous event!!!!

  • 6:02 6:35

  • 6:02

  • jo-he!

  • HIS ABS ARE SO HOT

  • Zhang jike has the best legs!

  • kranke scheiße...

  • こんなスピード意識してるティモボル初めて見た!

  • timo boll e o mellor de todo o mundo ,pásalle por riba a malong .

  • yeah. working 8 hours instead of twelve and having health and education like in the scandinavian countries is old and boring. if you really have travelled in china you must have noticed what is the quality of life most people live in. polluted enviroment, long hours of hard work in cruel conditions and generally being treated like animals.who only have to work... or train like in zhang zike's case. no personality at all.

  • @papagalosable Shut the fuck up and stop looking for excuses for your incompetence

European players suck because they don't work hard enough, and to be on the top of any sport you have to work your ass off, there is no fucking labor union for atheletes!

  • @rosun82 i wasn t talking about athletes. i was talking about the majority of people living in china.

  • I'm Korean and my Chinese friends are polite unlike ZJK.

  • such kind of celebrations are not for a sport like table tennis. though i admit he is a super player he is the leader of a more improved chinese generation he is also the leader of stupidity concerning his attitude. its a shame cuz i always thought that chinese are always self-disciplined. sports is not always about who wins or loose but its also about transmiting certain values for people to become better in their lives.

  • ZJK acted like a little punk... Timo Boll always graceful even after a win or a lose...

i am asian, and i think ZJK is just gotta act like a man,,, not like a maniac like that...

  • Zhang Jike got massive spin. maybe something sidespin in his balls, so timo always hit the "in german: kante" on his blade :D

  • zhang is a mini copy of kong linghui but in steriods..i said it 6 months ago that he was gonna be the new world champion...i hope he becomes the new olympic champion as well..his style doesnt to stop amazing me..what a player..

  • Zhang Zike is no doubt one of the best players after JO Waldner, even compare with his Chinese fellows. From his timing, speed, accuracy and tactics, Zhang will be on the top of the world for pretty long time.

  • @diegopingpongtoledo....

El zhang pala es butterfly viscaria con dhs hurricane 3 neo (blue sponge) en derecha y tenergy 64 en reves

  • especially in the 4th set, that was Table Tennis from another Planet! Zhang is well deserved Champion He is the man to beat

  • 6:06 --6:07 how fast his backhand attrack!!!

  • No matter how much I like Boll, his power was weak and how could he expect to overcome JK by staying closed to the table playing speedy first 3 ball attack like the Chinese 20 some years ago. No matter how much I want the Chinese defeated, JK was more like a powerful TT machine.

  • Watch at 8:26 on the background: Ma Long is sitting there with an unimpressed face and he looks so cool there ! he is the real man!

  • Is it me or does Timo look really, really thin in these videos?

  • I saw this match live, Timo gave everything he had and tried everything he could do.

    Zhang was just better...

  • i wanted a Ma long vs Boll final would've been epic ^^

  • I think New York City should bid to host a WTTC. That would be very good publicity for table tennis in the US, where it is desperately needed.

  • Boy, can't take my eyes off Zhang's sexy legs and ...!

  • It's revolting how Zhang yells when he wins a point, even if he gets fortune ...!

  • There two things that not many people probably don't notice. Firstly, Liu Guoliang was really nervous as his job could be on the line if Zhang lost. He could only rest if there are two Chinese in the final. Secondly, Ma Long and Wang Liqin weren't that thrill seeing Zhang as the victor. Wang was still upset about losing to Zhang while Ma was still digusted of himself for never being able to get over the Wang Hao hump. Never think there are no jealousy within the Chinese team.

  • @dankaren95 Well said. Personally, I'd be disgusted of Ma Lin too, since he is my favorite player, I expected more of him...

  • @dankaren95 Very well said. You made a good point there mate. You juste said what I was gonna write..! I often saw the chinese team mates dead as fishes while one of them is wining on the field, just in front of them... Of course! it is jealousy. And I think they were also pissed to see ZJK playing magnificent table tennis

  • timo lost my hero sniff sniff

  • High level stuff guys

  • 6:02 AMAZING SPEED AND CONTROL

  • 8:19 xDDDD

Xu Xin and Wang Liquin were the only Chinese who didn´t clap !

    XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • We should really gangrape that Zhang Jike.

  • any idea why GecaPhoenix's videos are deleted but these ones are still up? Hope these won't be deleted as well!!!!!

  • 2:15 timo boll le robo la tecnica a Zhang jike.

    hahahaha

  • the point 6:00 .....WTF.....

  • Timo neted many balls :(

  • Go go ZJ

  • Caieros thanks m8 very helpful it should my opponent confused

  • 6:01 Faster than a speeding bullet.

  • I think Boll should stop stepping around his backhand so much. He loses so many points like that even if he does a sharp fade loop.

  • how do u call that thing that Jike has under his kneecap?

  • Comment removed

  • players like ZJK are usually injured in half of their life but he really deserved to win

  • Is it possible for a player to swap table tennis grips during a game as In playing shakehand and then switching to penhold in a game please reply if you know

  • @haylenj08 yes you can, even switch hand if you want to.

  • I respect Timo Boll. Even in defeat he is gracious. A true sportsman.

  • JIke, the new Jokovic of Table Tennis. Number one in a matter of weeks.

  • where to get the full video?

  • Zhang Jike won the chinese trials ... He deserves to win this tournament !!! Timo boll was the number 1 ... Now Boll is number 2 ... Zhang Jike number 3 ... And Wang Hao number 1

  • Zhang is a few crazy (XD) but is the new Champion and his style is extraordinary.

Thanks to ttC for these high quality videos.

  • Thanks a lot for the (great quality) upload man!

  • Have you noticed that nearly always when Timo was using his reverse pendulum serve, Zhang flipped it and the made the point? Wonder why Timo didn't change his serve to the normal pendulum serve like he did when winning the first set.

  • Comment removed

  • wow really an intense game. what happened to malong anyway?

  • @fixedshot Lost to wang hao, I was cheering for Ma Long as well.

  • what a game, both players play extremely great. thanks a lot for the upload, we fans always appreciate the great efforts from ttCountenance.

  • Thanks a million TTCountenance! Ausome!!!

  • Timo gets no punch or penetration on his backhand block. It's nice it's becoming more stable, but he doesn't put much pressure on Zhang with it. No bueno.

  • Timo is great, but Zhang Jike were unbelievable in this game...

  • Zhang Jike celebrate like cock

  • 8:18 wang liqin doesn't seem to be very proud of his teammate :D

  • @brenktt Actually neither WLQ nor Xu Xin nor Ma Long: they're stone cold watching him celebrate... Says a lot about the kind of cut-throat competition and atmosphere they have within that national team between the top players.

  • Comment removed

  • 6:02 USHHHA !!! wtf ?! o.0

  • @speedcuberAF XDDDDD

  • whatever it is , we should congratulate Zhang Jike ...hey guys,... is not easy to become World Champion too

  • Fabulous placements here from Zhang. He played very tight with his forehand, he has so much power... Amazing. :D

  • OMG! Sick match! Great quality ttcountenance! BTW: I would have screamed like Zhang if i played that well in the semifinal of the WTTC! :)

  • what happened to timo boll?

    :(

  • zhang is too arrogant
