  • @zachmamaw Just said Tornado Warning on it.

  • Every time I hear the E.A.S. go off now, I either say or think "ITS GOT A TORNADO WARNING ON IT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • @hoosierredneck1 ROFL :") Watch enough of my lightning footage, and the catch phrase "GOODNIGHT" will be there too lol

  • mann, i live in st.louis...i was chasing with my fam, but we saw the EF-4 tornado. the EAS broke in on the radio and i said..."ITS GOT A TORNADO WARNING ON IT AGAINNNNNNNNNN!" lol.

  • I live in Anderson. WOO:D

  • @Taylorifythesky Good times on that chase. Didn't see any tornadoes, but still a good chase!

  • Awesome video by the way. That would send chills down my spine. I've been through something similar to that before.

  • @Weatherman436 Thanks :) That was quite an evening :)

  • I remember one night we were traveling to an event that I can't remember what it was, anyway we were traveling, it was raining and stuff, and I was watching what I call mobile television that I built and we were listening to the radio and heard there was a Tornado Warning for St. Louis, well we drove right into the storm. We had to stop at a rest area, that tornado was only yards away, heading our way, and it seemed close. We did see some damage and sirens did sound at our destination.

  • did i just hear 30 mph? what a weak tornado lol. But awesome vid! Really gets your adrenaline pumpin!

  • @beatlemania31 lol. It was moving at 30 mph lol. Seriously though I think the strongest straight line wind gust in Indy Metro from that event was 70 mph. A weak tornado did touchdown near Wilmington, OH

  • @lionsforlyons :) About time for another one :)

  • Cool video. Got my adrenalin going.....

  • @pacific707 Thanks :)

  • I was about 5 miles away from the core of this particular storm.

  • Nice to know someone gets as excited as I do when a warning comes on the air. Video liked!

How close were you to the storm?

  • In November, We're moving to somewhere that is close to Seymour.

  • @ChristineThePikachu Welcome to the Hoosier State :)

  • Panerabox lives in Indianapolis.

  • look at 1:29 to the right, lighting shows there a tornado already on the ground.

  • @nobull2003 Yeah that area was checked by the NWS the following days. No touchdown but very low hanging scud which was quite common that evening with the storms and no tornadoes being confirmed. Only a brief EF1 tornado near Wilmington, OH was confirmed.

  • @b33292 Was that June 22 of this year?

  • i love hearing the EAS

  • @terrellstorms A sweet sound for me that's for sure :)

  • @stormmoss wat is that beeping while he is talking on the radio

  • @terrellstorms During a Tornado Warning in the WIBC listening area, they will sound a constant alert every 15 seconds to let people tuning in know that there is a tornado warning in the listening area.

  • Time to hear more of THIS is season! Bring it on!

  • #1 How Often Do I Chase: Whenever Possible :)

#2 Do I work with the NWS IND? No

  • i hope el nino dosent effect use too much

  • It's already affected the weather this winter quite a bit.

  • ya, i hope are tornado season is still somewhat good

  • From what I can tell by early indications, it will be.

  • good, i remeber this storm system

  • EAS!!!! YAY!

  • Yep on WIBC Radio out of Indianapolis. This was a great chase!@

  • how did u already know their was a tornado warning

  • Had the warning map updated on my phone though in this case, I misinterpeted the storm that was actually tornado warned. The storm I was approaching was no longer tornado warning while the new warning was with a storm NE of Indianapolis

  • @stormmoss i think it was still a severe thunderstorm warning

  • I HEAR A EAS

  • That you do. It's over WIBC 93.1 FM Radio, but it's the actuall weather radio broadcast.

  • You just need to turn the radio down so you dont need to hear it dude.

  • What kind of weather did you have locally that night?

  • in north anderson got some sprinkles. south of town got the heavy rain. i know at one point in that day. it was black to my south and blue sky above me. storms had impressive structure, but as soon as night came they died pretty quick

  • haha...nice video! You were hype!

    Did the sirens go off?

  • For the original supercell that went through Indy, they did

  • Oh okay...

  • You sound like Crow from Mystery Science Theater 3000 :)

    Cool video!

  • lol thanks man :)

  • dammit....all the action was up north wasnt it? i hope they nudge downward today.....

  • Excellent footage, bet this was a good chase. Did it result in you seeing the tornado?

  • Not this time :(
