oh god this game looks so...bland. the determined(possibly irresponsible or lovably idealist) hero, the cute compassionate female (mage, preist, singer etc) the effeminate guy, the crazy dude, the perky thief, and the dude with the western name who just HAPPENS to wear a cowboy hat?(Ala Irving from FF8) did they even TRY to do anything new with this title?

@Blade5468 What?Irving was cool?you mean FF8 irving...the trained assassin, that was built up to be this big bad ass sniper, the same guy who was told that his responsibility would be to take the shot that would save the world, the same guy who at the moment of truth, the climax of the mission he was TRAINED to do at the very moment where he could have put a bullet in her head and save everyone and CHOKED. You mean that Irving? cause if so i'm gonna have to disagree.

Good characters have flaws, that's why the characters you described in your comment are boring.

Irvine is a thousand times more interesting than a potential big badass sniper that never misses anything and was an emotionless assassin.

@Blade5468 Characetrs are supposed to have flaws, yes. that's what makes them interesting, but to have an ELITE trained sniper, who chokes when shits on the line is just DUMB, being a sniper isn't something that you can be ambiguous about, your entire job is to kill. You point and pull the trigger. You don't go into sniping expecting to be giving hugs to orphans, scope, pop and drop.So that means NO ONE evaluated him in a real life scenario, no one thought to field test their best sniper?

@Blade5468 And for the most part a he could have had any number of flaws that would make more sense, and still be a worthwhile character. But no, we have a sniper a trained killer someone the trusted the entire worlds fate to, have an anxiety attack at the last second, and if you remember he says this ALWAYS happens. so what did the teachers just assume he would get over it on his own? It just doesn't make a lick of damn sense logically.

this game is awsum!!!! i have it but wen i play it on my ps3 when i get to the part when you fight on the plane and fall off with auric my data becomes corrupted!!!! i ven exchnged the game and it hppened again!!!

Actually, the last two guys aren't that bad. Some of the girls have voices that are somewhat similar...
