I grew up in very similar circumstances with a fundie grandmother who always calling my mother a whore just because she divorced my deadbeat dad. Since my mom had to work I got stuck with fundie grandma & it was very stiffling & oppressive & psychologically damaging. The only way the whole thing stopped for me was when I realized that grandma & her church are all nuts & not worth paying attention to. They are living in the bronze ages with their myths. They have no real power over you.

Wow, I feel so bad for you. AHH! You had to go to a christian school?! Most of my family is Christian and I know it's hard to deal with, especially on a daily basis. I agree with you, a lot of Christians are two-faced. Which it makes it even harder not to get angry. My mom used to be so condescending when I didn't want to hear christian music and she thought it was because there was a demon inside me that caused me to not like it. I've had so many run-ins with hypocritical Christians...
