Obsidian told us that second battle off Hoover dam is the last thing the Courier does, the Courier then stays to ensure New Vegas will be what he/she intended it to be, and if you ask me... I wouldn't want any better ending.

And also, making double saves of your Courier would be wise to do

I like it because they fixed the STYLE, the PRESENTATION, not the graphics or gameplay. And, honestly, everyone over-exaggerates the number of bugs. During my 100+ hours of playing, I encountered a few freezes and about two bugs. No more than in Fallout 3.

@InsideMyOpinion No, what they did in New Vegas was FIX THE DAMNED SERIES. Have you ever played Fallout 1 and 2? It wasn't gloomy, the entire universe wasn't dead. There were caravans traveling, huge casinos inside huge towns, etc. Fallout 3 took all that away, and New Vegas gave it back, keeping the great gameplay from Fallout 3 (I honestly didn't like the gameplay in the originals) and giving iron sights. New Vegas was great, and unappreciated.

New Vegas starts with level 30, a free patch added 5 levels, and the 4 expansions all add 5 levels. So, all in all, you can get to level 55 in New Vegas.

@ThomG1796 It wasn't just an improvement that naturally happens over time, such as Uncharted 3 being better than Uncharted 2. They fixed the WORLD, the STYLE, the PRESENTATION, which Fallout 3 had screwed up. Don't get me wrong, I love Fallout 3. But, still, they did screw it up a bit.

I think the biggest reason why this DLC has been the best for Fallout 3 and has continued to be the best Bethesda has put out since then is because it stays in the map and continues the storyline. Plus Liberty Prime is totally badass!!!!

I still firmly believe that you need EVERY add on in order to experience the true glory of Fallout 3. Each adds its own little spice to the game that makes it so much more worth it. The add ons are more than worth the cost in my opinion. Also, how were you only on level 23? Play it on hard and you'll hit 30 without doing most of the quests :/
